Haven't played sims since the very first one. Spent some summer weeks at my friends summer cabin wasting days on that game, fishing the evenings/mornings and having fun at night. Oh, sleeping, we didn't sleep, who would sleep when there are girls around?

Also finished Russian version of Max Payne, soldier of fortune and god knows what else there. Was fun times.

The best game ever to defeat your friends was Worms though

Yeah Sims is also nice. I must say that I generally played more PC games than any console ones in my life, I think it's because my favourite titles were there: HOMM, GTA, Worms, Turok, Rayman, Sims etc.

Playstation was only for Spyro and Crash Bandicoot when I was little, and Tekken, Soul Calibur, and Gran Turismo now.

Has anyone played Death by Degrees for PS2 with Nina from Tekken as the main character? It's a really climatic game with interesting gameplay.

I've just started playing Mass Effect for the first time and... its amazing!!! I LOVE the setting, the story and the combat is really fun too. I really like how you do not have to worry about ammo etc, instead the weapon simply overheats.

But I was super frustrated at the start when I could not figure out how to leave that vehicle. XDD

The whole plot is very epic and cool though. It reminds me a bit about Starcraft with the Xel'naga but I guess they're pretty different anyway (from the reapers). I just thought of them. The Spectres remind me of Jedis mixed with SC Ghosts.

The first Mass Effect has a certain atmosphere that the 2nd lacks somehow... I think it's the feeling of exploring something entirely new, having all the races introduced to you and everything... man I remember listening through all that lore... narrator has such an awesome voice.

2nd game tries to give you the same feeling of introduction to a new world with the Terminus Systems but it just isn't quite like exploring a new universe all together.

Still... guess it's more of a "get to know your crew" before the final mission kinda game. Focuses more on the characters than the universe itself.

You're gonna have way more fun if you import that character of yours from the first game when you play the 2nd game

Can't wait for the last game. I hope they don't go all dark and gritty war style and instead include some of that extreme clean and stylish feel that the first game had... had a certain feel to it that I really liked.

EDIT:

Laser Defence

Wtf it never ends. Wave 92 now...

There are better defence games out there but I got stuck playing this. Gotta see how far I can go.

I must say that my positive feelings over Mass Effect, while still extremly strong, have decreased quite a bit.
The main story is totally awesome, but when I went to the Mass Effect wiki to seek advice on a quest (the final stage of the "rogue AI quest" on the Moon/Luna), I could not help to check on how long the story would actually be.

And it actually does not seem that long. So I am a bit afraid that I will hate the game once I finish the main story. xDDD Because all the secondary missions are basically the same. Go to X planet, drive around a bit, investigate a building and kill some creatures. So far, I have seen no major NPC interaction or cut-scene in any of the secondary missions so they are pretty dull to me.

Some other concerns).

1. What's the point of buying most weapons? In the missions you do, you constantly find the same weapons but for free!

2. I think its a bit tiresome that you pretty much fight the same types of enemies all the time. Its Geth everywhere. It would have been refreshing if there was another, major type of enemy. It gets a bit repetive.

3. I totally love the Citadel. Its awesome and I love it,  though I was disappointed that major sections of it were inaccessable. However, there does not seem to be any other city or major settlement at all and thar saddens me a bit.

4. I totally love the combat, expect for one thing. When your in the heat of the battle and want your Squad members to use X or Y ability, you have to like pause the game. That really destroys a bit of the "battle feeling" to me.

5. After every single major story mission where you get some vision stuff about the Protheans, the archelogist alien ALWAYS has to inspect me and say the exact same stuff and after that, get the exact same headache. I was also reading up on the race, it everytime they make that mental connection thing, it feels like they're raping me. xDDD

6. Finally, the game is in no way bugfree. The overheat bug is the most frequent. Sometimes, weapons go to full overheat permantly. Its soooo annoying because I hate going back to really old save files because I always tend to not save myself. xDD
The most recent bug was however unique. I was at the Galaxy map, and when I left it, the game suddenly "half-froze". I could see the crew on my ship move around and hear the music etc, but I could not walk or even click ESC. I'll see how this goes tomorrow... or actually later today.

Despite all this crtique, Mass Effect is still one of the very best games I have played in my life so far.

Ohhh... And I have a confession to make.
I reaaaaaaaallly like Ashley! XDDDDD PP

You actually have to run and hide in this crappy game.. Currently i just created some acid, and heading backwards to the main hall, but the damn stairs are broken..

Don't like Steam very much.

K for some ****ed up reason I never played Half Life 2 or any of its following episodes, and not Portal or Team Fortress 2 either.

It's gaming heresy on epic level. *orders Orange Box*

So can't play any WoW (the only game where I can play for a long time and spend some time) for this week atleast so I am desperatley trying other games.

Games played recently:

Heroes 3: Still an amazing game, but wow the gameplay is really so much simplier than in H5. The atmosphere in the game is unbeatable though and the map editor is so easy to use, that now my 7 year old sister is actually making maps without my help.
So I am teaching her to play H3 now, like I did when I was like 5 years old. XD Yes, I am making her into an addict.

Age of Empires 3: Booooh boring game. Super boring game in fact. Sure, its EEALLY good looking. The enviroments and buildings look amazing but gameplay? Ugh, most boring RTS ever. No fun and unique units at all when you compare to let's say Starcraft.

Age of Mythology: Now we're talking! STILL one of my favorite games! Can't believe that it is so old! I love it! The factions all have  their own playstyle and there are tons of differnet strategies to use. Why isn't there a AoM 2? The Norse playstyle is totally unique and cool, I have not seen anything similar in any other game. I love that faction so much!

LOTRO: Lord of the Rings Online... A game which I have tried to trial on like 5 times and never got above level 10. So I tried again, for some reason, since its free to play I guess. Still SUCKS. Ugh, the graphics BLOW. The world looks dead and ugly, can't believe people thought it looked amazing.
The questing is SOOOOOO BORING. Before I can even start actually playing, I have to run around to talk to like 50 guys. If I want an RPG, than I would play an RPG!
Awful game. And why does the Champion start with 3 direct damage attacks? Makes zero sense to me.
And by Charles Darwin, I am so freaking sick of all MMORPGS having the exact same playstyle! I do not want to play another hotkey-based MMO! Give me something new, pleeeeaaaseeee! All MMORPGS right now look like clones of each other. Guild Wars 2 looks amazing though and I will try that. I think there may be too many RPG elements in The Old Republic for it to be successful.

Battle of/for Middle-Earth 2 AKA SLAGET OM MIDGÅRD xDDDD: HAHAHAHAHAHA its an EA game and guess what that means? Its possible to get it texted in SWEDISH. hahahahahha its hilarious!
LAMSLÅ! xDD Yeah, the highlight of the game is that its so snowing hilarious with the swedish translations.
Gameplaywise, that game still totally sucks. I played through the campaign once, no I am not interested in returning to this dull boring game where each race has like 3 units which are useful.
That reminds me of that the original Battle for Middle Earth was acuallly a pretty good and cool game. I really liked the style of the campaign there. Hmm... maybe download that one!

Playing Half Life 2... just finished the 1st episode and am now installing the 2nd one.

Damn the sounds are nostalgic. Nice music too.

Episode One felt pretty damn pointless though. Yay we're in the citadel, yay it's dark, yay we're on a train, credits roll...!

Gordon should really get a new damn battery for that flashlight btw. Yeah the suit can withstand the radiation from a fusion core but it can't muster enough energy to keep the light going for more than like 30 seconds...

They should make the crowbar more useful too, like, maybe give it a power-attack with the 2nd mouse button or something. POW. Right now it's really just there for nostalgia.

Playing the whispered word, lovely old school point and click adventure. It's one of these games that actually have a soul and a sense of humour, also loving the cartoon-like graphics and dialogues. Occasionally some riddles don't add up but overall it's highly recommended if you like adventure games.

Playing Mass Effect 2 now.

Wow, I think the combat is much better than in the original Mass Effect! And the interface is so clean and just perfect, though I admit that I miss having a big map. xD
I do not miss the stupid Maku (or whatever its called) thing at all.

I only have two things to complain about so far (have not got very far though):

1. I MISS the old team! The old team felt so close, and I loved the chats you could have with them after missions! I really, REALLY miss Ashley!!! (
And I just loved having Ashley and Liara in the same squad in the first game, because I liked the comments they gave each other.
The new brittish lady is NOTHING compared to Ashley!

2. I liked the old council much better than the Cerberus guy! I liked talking and argueing with the old council. I killed the council and the new human council is soooooo boring, I have not even seen them yet.
I thought the whole Council and Spectre stuff was very interesting in the original, but I have seen nothing of this yet.
Meh, I miss talking to the council!

the crowbar is one of the best weapon against headcrabs you noob. sneak up on them, and kill them in one blow. maybe two for black headcrabs. the gravity gun is good against black headcrabs too. 3 shots only.

it's also good against regular and black zombies, cause there is no point in wasting ammo on them.

currently playing God of War

How to become a crowbar pro:

1.Pull out Crowbar
2.Insert in the nearest Combine Face
3.???
4.Profit!
