What I hate about HL2 is that the ammo of funniest weapons, Magnum and Crossbow as so rare...
I wish that they existed in an abundance or that you could buy them from vending machines or something.

Overwatch Pulserifle ftw. Love the pinball of bouncy destruction.
Game decided to install itself with swedish menus though... the SMG is named the "Kulspruta" which kinda took the edge of the immersion a bit... but I got used to it.
Also one mission in episode 1 was named "skurk", which just made me facepalm. How 'bout "brottsling" or something? Fricking skurk...
Guess almost only scandinavians can get those last rants... sorry for being a bit Xeroxy.

well, because personnally, I think it's an easier way to kill black headcrabs. for regular ones, it depends if I can approach them without being spotted, otherwise I use the pistol.
All the Portal 2 advertisement made me play through Portal again. Aaaah Apeture Science is so cool. I <3 GLaDOS.

The credits-song in Portal was absolutely awesome
Now I wanna play Half Life 2 again but ever since the Steam update I got a few hours ago the damn game won't start. God I love Steam, greatest invention ever.
So nice to be able to play all your games when you want.

Tried out a 2D MMO Arcade game called Metal Assault. Free to play and quite a bit of fun.
Also playing Global Agenda, HOMM2, and HOMM3.

I am always late at playing those really popular well received game that are not Blizzard games (lol).
The most recent example is Dragon Age: Origins which I installed today.
I had heard it was sooooooo good and amazing but so far I feel...
that it sucks!
Well, it does not suck but I find it:
1. Very boring.
2. The blood is just comical and looks like poo.
3. Combat is the worst ever!!! It annoys me so much. There is so much potential to make unique combat styles in RPGs.
4. Animations are annoying, slow and "mechanical".
5. The voice acting is hilariously bad.
6. I know its an rpg, but its TO MUCH TALKING.
7. You can't actually hear your own character speak which does make a big difference because in Mass Effect, I felt bad for the characters when Shepard said something mean. I do not in this game.
By comparison, I absolutely love Mass Effect and I think its faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar superior to Dragon Age, which is "just another fantasy universe" (though the elves are slaves, which I thought was amusing and "cool").
Mass Effect has the story, an original and creative universe, excellent characters and fast actionpaced gameplay (especially in Mass effect 2).
I will give Dragon Age one more try, but if I do not like it then I will uninstall it.

Currently playing this mod of Rome: Total war, which I'm pretty good at. The mod turned it into LotR, which I enjoyed (it also has 13 factions, hoorah!), but playing the mini-factions is only for players with massive budgets, aka the PC.
But I'm getting pretty bored with it, since it doesn't really give me the lord of the rings-feeling. Isengard is fun, Mordor is meh (PC doesn't play as if they're the underdog in the story; they're very aggressive and frequently lose important generals, like Aragorn and Gandalf due to attacking armies twice their size) and I don't like playing good guys, mostly since playing as Rohan has a guaranteed early game rush by Isengard, the dunlendings and the orcs. Elves have a lot of economic problems, which I actually doubt they had in the story.
Gondor is beset on three sides, more if your ally, Rohan, fails at fending off Isengard.
The combat is nice, with trolls, mūmak, berserkers, uruks, several orcs and all the exotic troops who are crafted to resemble the visuals from the movie. Don't quite know what to play now... I'm also a bit bored of LoL

Recently I got a folder that has a lot of awesome old games in it. Scorched Earth(!!) Invasion of the Mutant Space Bats of Doom and Golden Axe, comicxzone.. The older games were a lot more challenging.
And at the moment I'm playing GTA: San Andreas from scratch. Not that it's such an easy game, but in constrant to Dave...... Dave would beat CJ into a pulp!

final fantasy XII. wandering, and will probably get a few characters to level 99. I'm not sure I've ever fully visited the Henne mines, despite beating zodiark and having the zodiac spear. didn't feel confortable with all those tough spectres.

Damn I'm out of touch. The beginning campaign missions are tough on hardest. The hero mission keeps getting me with the second wave.
