Currently playing through Heroes 6 campaigns, also playing Deus Ex, scoring endless headshots, not for the sexual thrill, but cause in the year 2027 there's a mass shortage of ****ing ammo, I mean guards have like 1 - 5 bullets, and I use these to shoot their other friends.

@Ivor: Real Jensens' main weapons are their arms.
Why shoot when you can impale on rotating-dual-directional-cyber-blades? They don't run out of ammo 
Oh **** wait they do, the damn energy thingy. Well snackpacks are plentiful iirc. Cookies = SLAUGHTER.

Downloaded an Anno 2070 savegame with all items unlocked and researched... means I don't have to spend the next 2 years researching **** and trying to gain career points.
Yin-Yang Regulators and **** means there's no longer any need to build Hospitals, Fire Stations and Police Stations, they can now be used as ornamental pieces which is effing awesome.
New map, new objective. Time to create an utopia of 3 civilizations on the same island. In the end there will be 3 monuments, a hospital area, police area and fire station area, along with parks. Got it all planned.
I will use this template twice over for the Ecos and Tycoons, the Yin-Yang regulator etc renders the protection buildings obsolete so I'll have room for 8 decorative areas when I include the 4x4 spaces of houses above and below the center.
This looks tempting as a basis for the Tech population on my island.
Yeah yeah will be fun.

You've put a lot of ... eh ... thought into that.
Me, I'm a sucker for the Uncharted games and so picked up the latest Tomb Raider at the Steam Summer Sale. Pretty cool game so far. A few too many quicktime events for my liking but otherwise it's fun to play.

Anno 2070, total addiction edition. "You've played 2 hours... maybe it's time to take a break?" YOU CAN'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO, GAME.
Now have both the Tycoon and Tech Monument on the same island... 2/3 of the island complete. Now on to Ecos o_O
This almost feels like work but I know it's gonna look amaaaaaazing.
PS that plan above sucks, was better to improvise after a while.

Currently playing Empire total war and Shogun 2. The thing I love about empire is the HUGE armies and the agonizingly slow battle pace (plus politics and trade) perfect planning plenty of time for SLOOOOOOW flanks, however there is a downside, (which is changed in Shogun FOTS and in napoleon I hear) which is that battles take hoooours to fight, but it's good fun.

Sounds like Europa Barbarorum battles. You can have 3 hours + battles if it's big enough.

Playing Skyrim as a vampire with Better Vampires + Royal Bloodlines, makes feeding actually fun.
Random girl in bar across the room: "Well aren't you handsome... we should spend some time together..."
Me: "Intriguing..." *moves over to her*
Random girl: "I know you for who you are, this town's blood is mine. Now let's go back to our roles lest the sheep suspect wolves are in their midst..."
Me: o_____O *walks away*
Well ok, that was unexpected  Amazing that this game can still surprise me after 300 hours of playtime ^^
Also **** yeah at Better Vampires! Snuck up on a guard on the Solitude docks and bit his neck from behind, was meant to suck him dry but he resisted, but instead of turning around and hitting me he cries "RUUUUUUN!!" and flees, blood spraying out of his neck along the way

playing Black. hard to believe it is a PS2 game, graphics are really impressive. the game is from 2006 and still looks pretty good by today's standards.

I've got into DOTA 2, and have been having a lot of fun with it. Currently me best/most fun games were with Meepo and Slark. Meepo being a character who creates up to five permanent clones of himself, while Slark is a fish assassin who can turn invisible and heal all of his HP back. Earthshaker and Lina were also pretty fun, Razor was intriguing even if Drow wrecked me in mid, and Bane was meh.

Oh yeah I remember the trailers for that. At the end of a console's era when devs have completely figured out the hardware you get to see some really amazing games. I remember God of War 2 on PS2 being more graphically impressive than PS3 games at the time.

PS2 games looked pretty godawful in comparison to gamecube ports of the same games though
Resident Evil 4 comes to mind...

Looks like they just added a mood filter to me, searching through other pics I actually find the PS2 version superior.
Some googling tells me that GC did have superior hardware and the PS2 ports did suffer in the graphics department, but RE4 doesn't seem to be the best example.
Btw dat first moment when you shoot a guy in the head like usual only to have his throat explode and erect parasitic tentacles o___O "****!! ****!! ****!! ****!!" Hahaha... classic.

The textures are on a competely different level, there's no variable lighting, the water is grossly simplified, there's no proper fog, and even the goddamn trees have less branches!
And they decided to port the snowing PS2 version for PC, WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU DO THAT!
Thank the modders for getting us Gamecube lighting, fog, water and other effects. 
Though I had HD textures on EVERYTHING. When Resident Evil 4 looks better in 2007 than default Skyrim in 2012 you know somethings up.

Ehm, they look different but I can't really say one looks better than the other. The wolf thingy on the GC has noticeably more healthy gums though

I wanna say that sure there are graphical superiorities on the GC that can be pointed out but the atmosphere is intact and I doubt it's anything you'd notice in actual, immersed gameplay.
It's far from terrible, in fact I think the grainy, desatured look on the PS2 version has its own value. Also these are nostalgia goggles
