Still slogging through Wasteland 2. One very odd design decision is that enemies can run across the map to close-in on a character in one turn. When you use a sniper rifle or assault rifle and an enemy is next to you, you get stuck with the "under pressure" condition, which causes a -20% accuracy penalty. It makes it extremely frustrating to properly use snipers in the game because the enemy instantly closes with your character.
Melee weapons require an unusually high amount of action points to use. On average, characters have about 8-9 action points to use with average speed. It takes 5 to swing an unmodified blunt weapon, such as a board with a nail in it.
Also, the enemy's hit percentages are way higher than the player characters. It is very rare for an enemy to miss an attack and with so few armor options in the beginning, you suffer a LOT of damage. It really, really sucks when you encounter a particular enemy with a lot of action points and a weapon that requires 2 AP to shoot. The high initiative of the enemy results in getting shot about 10 times before you can cycle through your characters. Also, since he never misses, you'll be lucky not to have a character killed off the bat.
So far, I enjoy the game but it needs some polish. I still have no idea why it requires 22 gigs to install, especially with how mediocre the graphics are.

Mafia 2 again.
Jesus, that game is like your favourite movie which you will watch it over and over again.
The main storyline never gets old. although it bothers me that the DLC storylines don't have cutscenes like the main one. would've been a hell of a different expirience overall while playing this.
Really wish they make a third one where they continue Vito's story. after replaying it for the nth time It seemed to end in the middle.
also more immersion in the game itself, a less linear storyline, allowing more exploration and side jobs. I guess the guys at 2K wanted to do that, as we have a skeleton mechanics of such activities, like stealing cars for either Derek(before we pop him) or Bruski. but then again it may be just thoughts of drunk me.
However, another sequel to this would be welcome. But everyone is overhyped for GTA5 coming to PC.

Mafia games always had good story and atmosphere.
Mafia was overall a better experience, though both games are great. Mafia's best moment is the mission on the farm.
And I remember the "strongest" moment in Mafia 2, when Chinese got their hands (and cleavers) on one of the guys.

Being able to compare Fallout 3 and New Vegas by having them in the same game is kinda interesting.
For example, Fallout 3's economy is ****ed up. You get rich extremely fast.
But damn if the ****ed economy is not worth it anyway because of being able to hack/explode/lockpick my way into rooms like these. I need none of these goodies but it still makes me smile.
New Vegas is much more conservative with its loot.
