Dungeon
Core
Nightbeast
Sorceress
Assassin
Elite
Abomination
Scorpos
Faceless
Champion
Bane Princess/Empress
Ofc is fake, not real official creature, but would be nice if dungeon would be the 4th faction with faceless and something alike.

Exactly, the champion resembles the empress of the faceless, which has the personality of all the faceless, expressed by face muscles and emotions.
The faceless not having faces anymore is a symbol of their blind devotion the their empress which she controls for all of her's servants.

Quote: Radox, I like it but I'd advocate few small changes:
Core: Kobold, Black gargoyle, basilisk
Elite: Evil eye, Minotaur, Medusa
Champ: Black drake (let's leave true dragons for bosses)
Not bad, but why do you prefer the Evil eye to be elite?
I played and DMed a lot of D&D games in my time. In D&D, beholders (evil eyes) are very powerful creatures, rightfully feared for their eye rays and magic-canceling powers. They really fit into elite, or even champion tier.

I'd rather want Gnolls (with the rest of H3 Fortress )
But I find the new Stronghold very positively designed, resembling Native South Americans (or Aztecs) anyone seen the film "Apocalypto"? It's similar to my impression of Stronghold so far. I especially like the Harpies, but I just hope they introduce more INTERESTING and UNIQUE creatures (e.g. Rocs/Thunderbirds, Wyverns, Behemoth, or even Cyclops) instead of just Orcs, orcs, and...orcs. Don't get me wrong I have nothing against Orcs, but 2 Orc units is a maximum IMO

^ It seems we are going this way, and I am happy with that too.
There is only one Orc in Core, we know there will be Cyclops and a new unit, so I don't think we'll have more than 2 Orc tiers.
And that's a very good news: we are heading towards a Barbarian town, H2-H3-like, not an Orc one.
About the core creatures, at least, it is easy to get the tank, the support and the rusher!

@Demonge Yes, I also prefer the old Barbarian towns more with a variety of creatures. I just hope they don't reintroduce the stupid Slayer from H5 Stronghold.
My Dream H6 Stronghold Lineup:
CORE:
Centaur (I'd leave the Goblins out altogether, to make room for others, and because IMO they're simply too weak to fight )
Harpy
Orc Warrior (the confirmed one)
ELITE:
Roc/Thunderbird
Cyclops (Shooter like in H3 and H4)
NEW UNIT - Jaguar/Panther would be perfect
CHAMPION:
Wyvern
But of course we already know the Core, so my idea of not having Goblins is not gonna be possible; I still stand by my Elite and Champion suggestions though . And actually, the Goblin looks capable of being a shooting unit with the Boomerang.
Also a Gnoll Shaman unit would be awesome, but I didn't include it because I still hope for H3 Fortress to return.

It probably will be good to have
- Centaur
- Roc
- Cyclops
as the elite units of Stronghold. Of course that is not going to happen, because they will use some "innovative and fresh" creatures instead of these classics.

I was thinking. Orcs are jungley now, so maybe new creature from elite tier will be couatl. I'm really hoping for this very cool creature.
As much as I love centaurs, I think they will be gone from this game.

On my side, regarding the sabre-toothed allusion, I think it could be possible having wolf-riders turned into tigers-riders. That would be funky!

I agree on the centaurs. What about Basilisks as a nod to the old Fortress?

Core unit: the Goblin
Goblins are "degenerate" Orcs, who were originally "failures" in the Orc experiment, born from the blood of lesser demons (mostly Imps).
Goblins are small (between 4 and 5 foot tall), scraggy, physically weak, but very swift and agile.
The average Goblin is devious, cowardly, and stupid. They rarely attack unless having the numbers of a mob, preferring sneak attacks and (poorly constructed) booby traps.
In the Orc armies, Goblins serve as servants, scouts, skirmishers, and sometimes sacrifices for the Shamans, missiles for the Cyclops to hurl, or even food if rations become too low...
The Goblin Hunter is the upgraded Goblin.
Core unit: The Harpy
Half-human and half-bird of prey, Harpies were originally used as scouts, messengers and skirmishers in the Wizards’ armies.
They won their freedom during the Revolt of the Beastmen. The Orcs adopted them as allies and see them as favored children of Father Sky.
The Harpies who settled in the Pao islands were created from various tropical raptors native to the Eastern jungles, which explain their multi-colored plumage.
The Fury is the upgraded Harpy.
Core unit: The Mauler
Lightly armored and heavily armed, the Orc Maulers are the basic front-line (basic front-line troops, foot soldiers, grunts) of the Stronghold hordes.
Their usual tactic is simply to rush straight at the enemy, counting on their numbers, speed, ferocity and toughness to break the opposing lines and pound the hell out of them.
Their heavy shields are not a decorative item, but used to deflect the incoming missiles that are inevitably hurled from the enemy ranks.
The Crusher is the upgraded Mauler.

The harpies are a bit colourful for my tastes, and describing the Goblins as 'devious' but 'stupid'? Oh, and those boomerangs don't look comfortable to hold.

So who was saying that I am always unsatisfied with everything in H6? Now I am more than pleased not only with the new creatures, but also with their very good names.
