I told you:
DON'T BE HASTY!
I am far from through with the GOOD towns yet. It still needs a lot of testing and there will be more than a few new changes before i can claim that i'm officially done with the GOOD allied towns.
As i said... Not in 2011... With any luck i WILL have it ready by December 21st of 2012 (the Mayan end of the world) but not before 2012 anyways

Well, i hope it doesn't come to that because if i release it on December the 20th of 2012, then you will only be able to enjoy it for one day
I was joking... But seriously, it will surely take long. As i said this may well be my last update ever so i want to make it count

@Lizard Warrior
Rampart doesn't have 4 level 7 creatures. The 7th creatures are as it were in HoLv3.1. You can get Gorynyches OR Gold Dragons. The Valkyries are given by the Pond but i may change them. In any case it's not overpowerful.

All in good time... Don't expect me to work day and night on this... As for Forge, i never liked the whole concept-idea, so it definetly won't be a part of my mod.
In other news, i may have a definitive rampart lineup. I made and added a new creature which may be the Rampart mercenary creature (instead of the Hierophants). This is also a "Fellowship creature" (as the same named thread) which means two creatures in one. I will name it either Hunter or Sentinel and it will be an elf with a hound. They will replace the Dendroid Soldiers and they will be archers but will have no melee penalty and will trap enemies at place, thus verifying their name...
As for the Valkyries riding the Dragon, i droped the idea, since it didn't look well on its back (and when the dragon moved it didn't seem right). If someone is inderested in using this idea (Pegasi rider on a Dragon) he has my blessing and if he can do this look good then he should share it and maybe i'll use it
I used the original Silver Pegasi animations and the Valkyries will be masters of the air and lightning. I will make them have some air spell oriented features (and i will edit their animations a bit, using some lightning effects). They will be a level 5th creature (a lot stronger than the original Pegasi) and they will be available at the pond at a rate of four per week.
Anyway, here is the new lineup:
Details may still change but not much i guess. Stay tuned for more...

Better than the previous one I like Sentinels, but the hell hound looks a little to demonic for rampart, maybe if you put a wolf instead it would fit better.
Also what does the "Valhalla's Blade"?Something correlated with undead or resurrection or not?
Btw. I would like to see Necropolis next But it's your project and you decide.

Actually, i was planning on making the Hunters a Dungeon creature (hence the demonic hound). I will try and make it both with the grey wolf from Wolf riders as well. I will put them both in game, check the result and then decide which to keep and where to place it (Rampart or Dungeon). I just posted this version because it was ready now.
As for the Valhalla's Blade description that may change in the end. Since Valkyries are Valhalla's female warriors i wanted to make them control the lightning and cast chain lightning on attack (i tried on making the damage dealt to be 10 for each valkyrie but failed till now). Anyway, it will definetly have lightning immunity and cast Chain Lightning. I just want to mention "Valhalla" in the description...
It can be "Valhalla's Power" or "Valhalla's Beacon" or something like that

hi there!
this is my just post, so I hope I do nothing wrong!
FIRST: Thank you for your great work. I like your mod very much.
I just have a problem: It seems I can't get to play the Pirates in Scenarios? Are they only reserved for the campaign? (i can see that in the campaign at the beginning I have a hero of them, so they are in the game and I installed it correctly).
I have installed the 3.1 standalone version. May it have something to do with the fact that I have installed the Groove Version? (does it also replace the swamp folk, like groove and there's some conflict?)
thank you very much in advance!

Pirates and merfolk are only available through dwellings and the campaign so it is normal that you don't see them in any town.
As for Grove, it replaces the Fortress and so it doesn't work with my mod. Use it on a clean WOG install. The Standalone version was made for that reason exactly: To have both WOG (+ anything you want) and my mod in another folder. If you install on it something else it might not work (as it doesn't with the Grove mod).

It just won't work if other mods will interfere with their scripts etc. From my expierience I know that e.g NIM and AR will work with this mod (they change only the visual aspect of game after all)

Yes, mods that change only the graphics of the game (and not creatures and stats) will work with my mod. I think Fcst1 mentioned that it works when installed over Terry Pratchet's mod (since it doesn't interfere with creatures that much) but i never tried it. It definetly works with NIM though. i gave it a try once

Thanks a lot!
I see that they have some diferent animations for defence and death though. I will make a combination of those animation at will
Anyway, thanks again
***EDIT***
I have some news to add although these are actually not mine
I got a PM from a Grove team member that is working on 3d models for a new (more professional as it were) version of Grove. Here is a pic:
He was kind enough to share the defs of these creatures, so that i might use it on my own mod if i like. The fact is that grove team members have a lot of work to do yet, but still the first steps look really promissing (and quite pro indeed).
Anyways, they wanted me to let you know that the project isn't dead at all and although the progress is somewhat slow, the results will pay off your patience.
