Important - Ubisoft Official H6 Survey
Just dropping in briefly to point out this part of my news post:

It's a pretty short series of questions asking for your frank opinions, which will assist in fine-tuning the development priorities of Heroes VI. I answered that question with the new art-style direction of the Necromancers (though I have a feeling D&D has done something similar too)
I like how they focus more on their spider-worshipping religion.
Nothing else really came to mind.

I received it this morning. It is short. Glad they are doing it, although the Editor was not listed.
Edit= Forgot something. I stumbled on the question list that included "Music" and didn't pick it with all else on the list, having only 3 picks. But I think "Music" is very important and automatically a part of the show so to speak and should not have been on the list. Anyone esle?

I was thinking about all the races and was about to say the orcs were kind of original, but then I realised that demon-blood infused orcs has already been done before as well.

The Might & Magic franchise is focused around Ashan now so yes, Ashan.

Well, they should have specify Erathia or Ashan. I mean they bring in pre-H5 stuff in that survey.

You mean Enroth/Axeoth and Ashan (when talking about HoMM). 
I too said explicitly that there is a great difference between the old world and the new one. They should have separated the questions somehow.
And what is this question about the favourite creatures where you have Succubi but not Black Dragons? I voted Devils/Archdevils (MK1 - Kreegans) and had to specify the rest in Others...
Other than that - it is good that they actually ask us something directly. Nice approach, if somewhat lacking the finishing touches.

And there are factions that undergo changes too like Dungeon and Fortress. Heck, there are even mixed race factions in H4. People who only play H4 will be confused. They should have specified this.

I'd like them to do more survey's like this, and with a wider range of questions and options.
I was pretty embarrassed when the "what games have you played" question came up and only listed a hand full of triple A games, don't even recall an "other" option being listed there.
Oh and I found the "creature" question HORRIBLY devoid of quite a number of iconics.

"The Science fiction base of the universe. Old M&M universe doesn't deny fantasy. Sci-fi only makes the world more complicated. Even a tiny reference in H6, that Ashan Planet is in old universe will finish constant disputes about what universe is better (old or new). It can't influence on Ashan because planet has own history and rules. Like every world in old universe."

Had to lie my way around: "In the last 12 months, which games (including DLC/add-ons) have you played for 10+ hours ?" because there isn't an option for none, yet I haven't so much as touched a single one of them.
Also, it was horribly generic, since there was only like 2-3 questions about H6.

Maybe because Blackie is no longer a faction creature? Meanwhile a Naga Queen will be a faction creature

The question which other games played is a fail, I didn't try any 
Also, they mentioned poor and abandoned Celestial Heavens, but not Heroes Community.
