Read more carefully next time. Xerox said in Heroes series. And Asian here means far east Asian not Arabic Academy ones.
Edit: And compared to other Naga in other games, it is unique.

Most people associate the word Asia with the continent of Asia proper, not the Middle East. I knew very well what Xerox intended. Throwing in an Asian-styled faction to anything isn't unique. It's been done to death and doesn't matter if it is a first for the Heroes series.

Asian style may have been done many times before but Asian Naga? Never heard of them before.

Are the Nagas even Asian-styled? I haven't seen any art for them.
I also thought they were water-based? What would they be doing in a jungle?

Well, they are. At least in the art found in heroes 5. And I'm sorry but I don't remember the topic where they were posted. Plus there are some pics in the artwork thread. Along with something that could be a faceless and one dark elf.
They certainly can't just dwell underwater, right? So the closest thing is jungle or swamp. At least jungle is an actual tile type and snakes fit really well in jungles, with its reptiles and humid environment, don't you think?

I think that it will be a lizardman faction with nagas or a naga faction with lizardmen!
After all Nagas are half snake and there are snakes in h3 fortress!

Only thing really snake-related HIII Fortress has is the Serpent/Dragon Fly, and even that isn't very close. Fortress is reptilian, but not in a snake-like fashion.

Well we will know more in december 
And I wouldn't mind have 6 of the classic factions because so far they have been really good to bring us new stuff and not just standard line ups!

You can do so much more with a lizardmen town than with ANY naga faction.
Oh and lizardmen are soooo original for a faction !!!!! While they are at it they can make pigmen, chipmunkmen, turtleman, turkeyman, kapibaramen, giraffemen, blowfishmen, vombatmen...factions. All that potential!!!

The best would be if they had both lizardmen and nagas in a single jungle faction, however I would much rather see a Aztec-theme than Asian-theme but it is not the whole world...
And I really hope it is a jungle faction that lives in the MIDDLE of the deepest jungle, not some Atlantis City on the side of a beach.

I'd also prefer an Aztec-themed city, as I feel that would be more unique and distinctive than an Asian-influenced one, but we'll have to wait and see, I suppose.

I'm against mixing Lizardmen and Nagas.
For me, Nagas would represent a more naval theme with beautiful water themed creatures.
The Lizardmen on the other hand, belong in the dreary swamps with dangerous, venomous serpents.

But I don't want a water/ocean/Atlantis theme, so if it is going to be a jungle theme I want lizardmen, otherwise I kinda agree with you
But I have a hard time seeing them adding lizardmen, but it was just wishful thinking anyway :/

Hmmm, okay. That is interesting; I'm really, really hoping that they don't go as full-out Oriental as the Naga concept art was if they choose to include Nagas, as HoMM always was more so western fantasy, but oh well.
I really do think Lizardmen would make more sense for a jungle, or anything bipedal really; the naga body structure is not too well suited to navigating jungle terrain, in my opinion.
