I prefer screwing Maven over behind her back, though it would have been nice to have the option to axe her WITHOUT console commands. *grumble* You know most of these NPCs wouldn't be so snotty if they weren't unkillable.

I would've liked to see a mod that just adds an absolute crapton of persuade/intimidate encounters so that speechcraft feels as cool as it does in New Vegas.
Harder to implement because of the leveling system, can't really get good at it without failing over and over, which mods that make shouting level and get stronger with Speechcraft somewhat helps at least.

I don't know how people manage to play with followers. I was making those Helgen reborn mod quests, where you have to test 6 followers in hard combat and I almost destroyed my keyboard in rage. Those idiots always run in combat before they should, they obstruct my vision and ranged range, they add lag, and they make the mobs run in horde to my location while I was sneaking at 100 level. Painful.
Had to delete the mod and I am sure I won't play with any follower, AI combat scripts are obviously not worked.
I think is related to SkyRE mod. Is someone here using it as well?
The difficulty is much increased with, so enemies mages can put you down in a few seconds. Thus you need sneaking most of time and try to get them before being noticed. Or those followers are doing big noise.
Plus now I understand why I felt game is so slow. SkyRE changes the perk system, and now you need twice more to advance. Will try the game without.

SkyRe is a peace of crap. If you want real difficulty in combat, go with realistic combat, locational damage and realistic archery like a real man. If that one bandit hits you in the throat with an arrow, you will die.
It's also completely tweakable to any values you like, I can check on my skyrim what I have there at the moment.

Okay, I booted up my other computer and checked through my mods, here's what I have in my locational damage config.

set KahmulLOCbonusDmgLegs to 3
Makes for a nice, hard, but also fair gameplay. It works bothways, you can crit and they can crit you. Keep in mind that my version of the mods and skyrim is a year old or so, from last spring.
I also have injuries enabled which means that arrow in the knee, really is an arrow in the knee.
Oh and you will need to boost magic if you have locational damage high otherwise there's no point using it, mine's balanced magic but there are probably better options out already.
My mods the ones up there are mostly graphics and bug fixes.
EDIT: to clear that up, don't use realistic combat and locational damage at the same time, just one of them, I prefer locational damage because I can tweak everything to my liking.
Oh and now you can have all those imbalanced TK Combat and the like without actually them being inbalanced!

The current mods there are for my dark elf spellsword with an actual life, you can see mine are on the realistic roleplay side. OMG I ACTUALLY HAVE TO EAT DRINK AND SLEEP.
I am considering my next character will be a total opposite of this. A tera model armoured super sexy, totally imbalanced maximum carnage elf babe

You won't level up as fast, but perks will have much more impact and do more interesting things than "increase melee damage by 10%" or something, and Duel Combat Overhaul will make battles intense and challenging, but fast.
It's my current combo for gameplay, I also added Enchanting Awakened but not really needed unless you like enchanting to be more interesting.
Oh yeah and Cliffracers is the absolute best mod there is for Skyrim and if it's not in your load order you don't deserve to play the game.

Tried to click randomly when making potions, it fails every time. Ingredients, ingredients, I don't know wtf ingredients they want. Then cooking, not sure what it does. Still did not see a single dragon, it requires some quest?
The game is huge, and getting specific info about over the net is cumbersome.

Alchemy is like that, at first; when you find combinations that work it will add the discovered effects to the ingredient(s) in the future.
Dragons do indeed require a quest; you need to go to Whiterun, get the stone for the mage there, then fight the dragon that the guard reports. After that they should spawn randomly. ____________ Adventures in Helnith has moved!
Will do so. I restarted without SkyRE and is 100x easier, only half perks to use. On the other side, SkyRE had some interesting extra abilities, tough choice.
Now this guy is funny. Exactly my problem too, load screens:
@Adrius, I don't think they exist anymore, though, I'm quite sure a certain Dunmer had quite the epic quest exterminating each and every last one of them
To be frank I never really liked those, I guess it's because I found out through those creatures that towns folk won't get attacked by them. Like Griffin's in Erathia & Bracada in M&M7 who'll ignore peasants, but not you.
