It's too late for that. Once you enter there's no option, you have to finish this. Try to quit and it will be the end of you.

I'm joinin.
Name: Jarod Sordin
Nationality: New Zealand, but has been known to work under many nationalities.
Description: About 5 ft. 11, (about 1.8 meters, sorry, American here.) Black hair with a slightly bluish tint. He has silver eyes and Jarod has almost no tan, due to his job. He wears loose clothing, usually a green t-shirt and white cargo pants. He is thin, and obviously in shape, though he has little physical size. His face has an expression that most people look at, and then summarily forget, because no one can be THAT driven and boring at the same time. When he lets himself relax, his appearance is only slightly above average. At the time the adventure starts, he is wearing the usual, and a very good pair of running shoes. He seems to be under some kind of stress.
He is 24. A christian, but not a very good one.
Background: A Stratfor (New Zealand private intelligence agency) officer, a lieutenant in the intelligence department. (Yeah, intelligence OF the intelligence) Jarod grew up in the mountains, living in the woods like it was his second home. He tracked many animals who lived in the mountains, and found that he liked them more than most humans. The most surprising thing he probably did was tame a mountain cat. It lives in his home, and it is fiercely protective of its human master and friend. As a result, he grew even more distant from society.
He was part of the crew who first approached the UFO, and was one of the only two survivors. They actually came in contact with a small group of the UFO's inhabitants. Together, they hunted down a small fraction of any aliens that thought to scavenge something from the blast zone, though many of them were dead when they got there. They were sometimes forced to rely on martial combat, and both were forced to rely upon each other to survive. Jarod and Aran (The other agent) are believed to be the only ones to pull off this feet, and so they conveniently disappeared.
Neither of them are dead. Both live very, very far away from each other, Aran actually lives in Germany, and they have begun new lives. Or, more accurately, Jarod went back to the way things were. He came back to his fiance, and his large cat. Nothing was known about Aran.
Until now...
Skills: Jarod is a great scouter and tracker. He loves organization ans order, and as such is a neat freak. He rarely, if ever, questions orders, and he is loyal to a fault to his country and his organization... which has actually crumbled after the UFO landed. He has had many years of personal combat training, and has had specialized training in hand-held weapons (Knives, kuni (Japanese throwing knives) and pistols) and he has had extensive training in rifles, a very good marksmen. He has always liked running, and can move faster than most normal track and Cross country athletes.
He can speak English, German, French, Spanish and Mandarin (Chinese) equally well, though his native language is English.
Hope this is good enough, and that I'm not too late to start.

I'd think that we find the pods and alien artifacts from the original blast zone, and other people/ alien survivors.
Also, some ring ideas:
Protector: A might ring that may be used to shroud any one person not the wearer in an impenetrable energy shield. It only protects its wearer against the charisma ring.
Slayer: A mid-level ring that gives the wearer knowledge about the weak points of any foe they face. No other effect.
Chaos: Ultra ring. Has the powers of three to five random rings below the ultra level. Protects the wearer from all elemental rings, and whatever might ring it is currently imitating. It informs its wearer of any changes that the ring makes.
Truth: Might ring. Powerful enough to influence all non- core/ null ring wearers. They find that they cannot lie to the bearer of this might ring. Powers up the charisma ring so that it can effect elemental ring bearers.

Pretty much I am allowing free form on where/how you find the rings. Ultra rings or Primordial Rings are on the other hand in specific places. Don't go crazy on finding the rings either. Remember they are very widely scattered. You are not going to find three rings in a day for instance.

I'd rather be the one who decides that. Where you find them is another matter. I'll leave it to Player vote. Me decide who finds which, or characters?

Yup, makes sense.
You decide what ring we find, and where.
About NPCs, do you control all of them, or can we control certain ones, (For instance, the alien that everyone knows Jarod is going to find).

Just as a note.
We may want to enforce a time-keeping mechanic. We've only had a few posts and it is already getting confusing where and when everybody is.
Mytical, you may want to consider this.

Alright, so I come in at about 1 day after the craft explodes, and on about day 9 actually arrive in the main story area, (Which I assume is in England). So the other characters have a total of 6 days on me, though I started earlier.
Ok, then that should be enough of an explanation for me, I guess.
Also, NEW RING!!!
Regeneration: A might ring. The bearer of this ring watches their wounds heal at x7 the normal rate. Useful if you get the crap beaten out of you constantly
