Can the core ring be destroyed by contact with the null ring?

Yes...and no. The person holding them would decide one of two outcomes.
1) The Core and Null rings would be made powerless forever..which would also reduce the powers of the other rings considerably.
2) An explosion. Which would vaporize every organic thing on the entire world, the rings (wherever they are, regardless), and start 'terraforming' the planet to a pristine jungle like planet. New creatures, etc would be formed..and the planet would basically 'reboot' whatever had been living on that planet before, however...would be gone for good.

*nods* The Entire Vast race wants that to happen, so they can use the earth as basically a farm/mine. Would be much easier if there are no pesky natives to interfere. The Deep and the Isla (the few that remain) want to stop them from doing to Earth what they did to the Isla's people.

Got to change my last post slightly (The Key ring is not where his friend is..the shape shifting one is) but now you know why I said .. they might not actually be 'good' guys. X917 is not 'good'. He has one goal, and nothing else matters to him. He will try to kill Jantal, and won't hesitate to kick small puppies to do so.
I need to put a bio up for these three don't I? 
Name : Jantal
Race : Vast
Description : Currently a native american with a black gangster hat, black trench coat. Has technology that can change appearance.
Weaknesses : Thanks to the Time ring...only the Null ring. However, without the time ring..he is actually not that big of threat. Also has not much knowledge of earth customs etc.
Skills : Hand to hand, infiltration, biorythm alien tech (that will only work for him).
Name : X917
Race : Vast..currently a machine with a person's brain inside.
Description: X917 is hard to miss. He is 10 tons of robot. If you need a visual think Juggernaut only full machine.
Weaknesses: Not many, especially as he is made of alien tech much more advanced then ours. However..if he is cut off from his ring, or under the effects of the null ring..he is a 10 ton paperweight. He listens to his 'friend' however..and is pretty much kept in check by them.
Skills : Doesn't need many, but the tech and ring give him a LOT of options.

I don't think so, since they are NPCs. I'm thinking his buddy will be a "good" guy though?

Yes. A member of The Deep. Compassionate, etc. However, their greatest strength is also their greatest weakness. They care TOO much about others.

So I've read down page 1(well not completly but almost) of the IC and I am a bit confused and I have to ask: Have you guys gathered up yet or gotten a map with the locations of the craters? Cause if not, this is gonna be one hell of a confusing RP.

Background: Desiree "suffers" from a form of "brain-damage" that has left her unable to feel any sort of emotion. Because of this she acts only upon the logic and instincts as a human being. Alreay as a young girl, she had decided that she would serve her country and her species to the best of her ability, so she has always sought to become and agent of France. During one of her earliest missions, something went wrong and she had been labled "dead" by the government and all of her relatives and friends were led to believe she died in service. In reality however, this was a ploy created by herself to rid herself of any other connections that any enemy she might get would try to exploit. Now true only to her nation, she took up two random names she just felt like having as her new name and surname, and since then she has become one of french most exellent agents.

Yep that works . So will put the london rings as claimed. For those of you who already have rings. Two new blue pillars of light are seen. Also a small blue 'circle' will be seen in the sky (where the lights go to). It will fade after a few minutes.

Before you say anything, I am trying to introduce a foil of my own making. Something that my char has to work around regularly besides the things the other players and the GM might throw my way.
Also it's a way of showing a different side than the levelheaded and in controll criminal.
