Lorewise iŽd say sylvan and dungeon are a safe bet. It would be a great storyline and setting for an expansion. Academy could also work with the wars against the necromancers that ended in the destruction of the first kingdom of magic (and founding of the second). That would also let Ubisoft make Academy into something a bit different then they were in heroes V.
IŽd rather se those making a comeback then the dwarfs or something completely new.

I agree that Sylvan and Dungeon are a rather safe bet. However I find it preferable that if they do go that way, they throw in Fortress as well. Seeing how the First War under the Mountain was not long after the Dark Elves seceded. And seeing how Dwarves and Dark Elves hate eachother's guts, that'd make a nice campaign(part). Also making the number of faction a nice eight.
In a possible second expansion they could introduce Academy and the mystery 10th faction to round everything of.

I was going to say Dungeon b/c of the need to have the Black Dragon... but then I realized they probably already have the Black Dragon in the base-game as a Boss or something. Therefore I think Academy will be the most likely!

It will be amazing to play through the War of Bitter Ashes and the split of the Elves of Tuidhana from the Kingdom of Irollan. So Sylvan is the likely candidate, and Dungeon that should be the result of this campaign.

Academy must be in some time because it is mentioned everywhere and it would be so weird if it never appears.
I would too love to see the Sylvan/Tuidhana story and I guess a Sylvan expansion could easily tie up to a second or third Dungeon expansion with Faceless in it (I believe faceless are the 10th race in Ashan).

I would like to see all of them in H6 eventually. Obviously, Sylvan, Dungeon (with Faceless) and Academy are a must. I also think that Dwarves and Free Cities shouldn't be left out, since they both have great potential.
Dwarfs, of course, need a change in their lineup, but the game-play with runes was quite interesting in H5. Potential creatures (keep the rune-priests and standard dwarf axe-warriors or brawlers maybe) could be gnomes/halflings, kobolds, wolves, Valkyries, giants, yetis, salamanders, polar bears... And, naturally, Fire Glories 
Ylath worshiping Free Cities I already wrote about: fast, fliers, fragile. Potential units include: pegasi, thunderbirds, falconers (as shooters), nomads, wolves, sylphs, storm vortex elementals, war machines, leftover beast-men and blue phoenix as champion.

Vote for Sylvan. Pretty sure they'll make a comback, along with Dungeon, cf. the Elven split in the storyline.
Really hope for Academy also, but less certain about that.

Sylvan and Dungeon. although i have no doubt Academy will also return, Sylvan's storyline and Dungeon's birth will definetly be amazing story for sure. Also Sylvan and Dungeon has to be released together because of storyline whereas Academy can easily be released on it's own too or with some other faction like Fortress.

I voted for Dungeon, because they are my favorite. But I think they should put Elves and Dark Elves, and make a campaign about their dissociation(spelling?). I'd like academy, but not with the artifact creating stuff... IT was too over-powered IMO.
This may be stuff for another poll, but I'd like balanced LAST SKILLS for these classes. In H5, the elves had the luck thing, which was definitelly OP compared to the human Retaliation Strike thing or demon Gating.
I mean come on, I could kill 20 black dragons with 20 emerald... in one attack.....

They are not going to give two elf factions in separate expansions without any other faction (nor Dwarves will appear just by themselves), but since getting 2 new factions in 1 expansion might be too much to hope for, the best bet is Academy in one expansion and then Dungeon or Sylvan in the other one.
And yes, the poll is very premature, we need to play with the Naga first to know which old factions they will make us miss the most.

I hope and believe they will give us the Dungeon first.
But just like Xerox I really hope they will give us both Sylvan and Dungeon so that we in a campaign can experience the birth of the "Dark Elves". I don't that they will give us a Ylath faction, but that would be cool 
I must say I will be sad if they would ONLY have ONE additional faction in the first expansion.

I highly doubt Dungeon will be in the first expansion, at least, if ever.
Academy is a no-brainer. Titans? C'mon.
Sylvan is obvious too.
But since Dungeon is some kind of dumb Dark Elves thing, I doubt they'd give us Elves, then Dark Elves. Seriously... I'm surprised how many people think it will be Sylvan + Dungeon, because that totally seems like an unrealistic move.
