"WHAT?!" Melony shrieked. "Where is he?! I'm going to tan his damned lying hide! 'I'm better' indeed." She seemed to be both mad confused. Melony gained some control over herself, going into the cool, emotionless state that Miasma had taught her. "Where is he? I want to talk to him."

Meanwhile back in NC...
Vlad was on a rampage. After few days of hard work he managed to adapt some pieces of Evolon technology to the Mk-89. Now was a time to field test it.
A grenade was thrown back at a SWAT truck, damaging it and heavily injuring the operatives nearby. Vlad attacked one of the mansions in the city's district for the rich. The mansion belonged to a former KGB agent turned criminal, one of Vlad's former employers.
Several officers rushed right in, aiming their guns at Vlad. He activated the force field generator integrated to his armor. The bullets bounced off it, leaving little hope for the officers to survive. The force field lasts about a minute, before requireing to 'cool down' and recharge.
With his gun strapped on his back, Vlad charged at the SWAT team. Few were killed by his heavy blows, while one was thrown out the window using the gravity manipulator. With it Vlad was able to even lift a shipping container and use it as a weapon, however such act would deplete the device's energy almost instantly. It also had a several minute cooldown. The size of the objects determined for how long it can be used. After the throw, the blueish lights on the manipulator set in the left gauntlet's palm were fading out, signalising that it starts the recharge process.
Vlad grabbed his gun and mowed down the remaining SWAT. He went out of the damaged and full of explosives mansion. It's owner will be destroyed with it. Vlad had turned the owner and his family into living bombs. After dealing with the rest of the remaining SWAT, he detonated the explosives. Vlad's force field reflected the falling debris of the mansion. The explosion also damaged the neighbour's house, but that was uninportant. Vlad stood and watched at the burning rubble, with the flames deflecting on the polished black armor. A diabolical, mocking grin of the devil was locked on the helmet's faceguard.
Vlad reloaded his weapon and slowly walked away.

"He probably won't be in any condition to talk right now." replied Ouroboros as he sat down on the bed next to Melony and took off his coat. "His throat is all dried out by now, and besides, you'll probably kill him. Especially after hearing this."
Ouroboros reached into his pocket and took our a recording device. "I always keep one on me. It's very handy."
He then turned it on. The voice belonged to Jack Kane. "Melony trusts me very much. If the information I already have is not enough I can break her much easier than you can."
Ouroboros then turned it off and turned to Melony. "I'm sorry."
The door opened to reveal a young girl in her early twenties. She wore nothing but a leather jacket, boots, and a thong. She also had a sword in her hand.
"What do you want?" she said menacingly.

Kane smirked. "Well now I want you. But I actually just happened to come by this place and wondered where the closest big city is?" he paused. "You may lay down your sword, it won't do you any good against me anyway."

Melony was silent for a few seconds. "That doesn't really stop me from wanting to talk with him." He either wanted to get a position of power from Ouroboros, or he wanted a bribe so that he could get closer to me. Either way, I need to talk with Jack Kane. "I won't kill him on sight. Where did you leave him?"

The girl's eyes widened and she yelled out, "KANE!"
She threw her arms around him and then said, "Oh my god you don't know how much I've wanted to see a familiar face! Remember me? It's me, Carrie!"
"Well if you really want to know, he's in Africa. The sahara to be exact. Not exactly sure where, I just pulled a random spot out of my head." replied Ouroboros as he yawned.

She considered this for a while. "Well, then. I don't think that we have to worry about Jack dying on us... He's too tough and has too many favors to call in for that to happen. But that doesn't stop me from wanting to talk with him or scalp him. Could you find Kane easily? I would be in your debt... And more willing to help you."

Kane hugged her back, not really sure how to respond. She remembered him, obviously, and in a good way. "Yeah, about remembering. I've kinda got this amnesia after the doctor did experiments on me. Really wish I could remember you though, you seem like the person I would want to remember."
He took a step back and eyed her. "You look great girl, really hot!" then he added. "I've got heatvision, you're literally hot."

Carrie responded as she led him inside, "Thank you! But we didn't get to do anything. I was a little loopy back then anyways, so you wouldn't have wanted to. Ever since that one guy flicked me off and somehow banished me here, I started rethinking my life and everything. Now that I think about it...I've been wearing the same stuff for about a year. A little bit nasty, but I've lived off of the little animals here and some of the fruit that grows around."
She closed the door behind them with her telekinesis and then said, "Home sweet home!"
The little hut contained a makeshift bed, an AK47, and a firepit.
Carrie put her sword down and took off her jacket, revealing her breasts unclad, and threw it on the bed. She then said, "You can put your stuff over on the bed there."
She took her boots and her thong off and then said with a wink, "I'm going for a bath in the pool. Wanna come along?"
Ouroboros replied as he kicked off his field boots, "I'm sure he wasn't going to die in the first place. There's an oasis nearby him. If you want, I suppose we could go there...but I need a shower."

Kane grinned and his bright eyes lit up. This is what he missed when he was with Melony, he was no innocent person. He needed action. "Hell yeah."
He stripped off his t-shirt and boots, and started to take off his belt as he followed Carrie outside to the pool.

She moved into her own bathroom to prepare herself as well. So kill on sight or talk first? She found herself wondering, but Melony knew that she would ultimately be no murderer.

Carrie laughed and jumped into the pool, scattering some fish around. She swam a bit and then came to the bank where Kane was. "Either hop on or hop in!"
Ouroboros teleported him and his stuff to his room. He quickly took a shower, making sure to take good care of his scars and then dried himself up. He put on another set of clothing and then his mask. He teleported into Melony's room on her bed while he waited for her to wash up. He summoned a book to him and started reading it.
"Machiavelli's Prince, eh? How astute."

Melony walked out clean and dressed in white and gray. She looked at the book Ouroboros was reading and saw that it was "The Prince". "Good book choice." She complimented her host. "Are we ready to go now, or should I wait for you to finish your chapter?"

He let a finger glide between her lips ((not the ones in her face ..  )) and gently pressed one halfway in. "Aren't you a naughty little girl." he whispered in her ear. "Ready for me already, hm?"
Kane kissed her neck, laying her down on the ground and getting on top of her.

Kane was to busy giving Carrie a good time to notice Ouroboros and Melony appear not too far away. Not too far away his knife were half buried in the sand.

Ouroboros walked towards the oasis with Melony. He found Kane's knife in the sand close to it and said to her, "Ah! Kane must be in the oasis!"
He then heard pleasured screams and shouts from the oasis. Ouroboros then said, "Apparently, he's in something else too..."

Melony saw them after a half second. Fortunately for Kane, she had decided to go into her calm, nearly emotionless state. Unfortunately for Kane and his partner, Melony had seen them. And she did care.
A massive shadow from the hut smashed into Kan, sending him flying into the pool. Melony stared emotionlessly at Carrie, and decided that the girl was unimportant. "Jack Kane. Get out. You aren't dead, yet. I haven't decided if I should let you live. Come out you murdering traitor."
