Kane shook his head no. "I will take her with me, she is very mentally powerful and will recover well enough with me. Besides, I might need her later. All I need from you is information about Inferno, I need to find him as fast as I possibly can."

"Inferno was in one of the Machine Mob's newly acquired places. He caused a bit of trouble there. When it looked like that he would be finally put down, he sort of...exploded and then left. There is no clue to his whereabouts now. Perhaps there is some hideout that he would have gone to that you would know of?"

Kane frowned. "Well no, I'll look around. You will be able to find me if there is something you need, but keep in mind I will be busy for the next days. I will still work on our agreement, as my new.." Kane caught himself. "I'll keep working to take down Ouroboros, I'll just take a less direct approach at it."

Kane nodded to himself as Minion left into the darkness, then he walked slowly away toward inner circles of town. Few approached him, few in general ever dared to. A police car drove slowly past him, the officers looking at the girl he carried in his arms, but they didn't do anything. Police in the city was getting lazy, too lazy for Kanes liking. At least it didn't bring him any problems at the moment. He wanted to check out the Dead men walking - club first, for some reason, trusting his gut. It might be a wrong guess, but if nothing else Carrie might get some rest there. Kane did not trust Felix and his guys, so he would never let Carrie under their care. She was a tough girl, and would be ready for action rather quickly. Another day and she could possibly walk unsupported.

The aircraft flew above the city.
- Hunter ten, report.- a melodic voice asked through the radio.
- It's a freakin warzone here- the young woman observed one of the Machine Cult's attacked territories, where the droids battled against the National Guard.- Too risky to land here. Any pointers of where should I fly, Tormi?
- Try the docks, Lena. Your father has a PMC compound there.
- Thanks.- She started to fly towards the dockside. However, she was soon picked up by a few jets.
- Unidentified aircraft, please folow us...
- Idite nachui!- She aimed the turret at one of the jets and fired a salvo, destroying it. She evaded a rocket and aimed at the second one. Another salvo and the fighter fell, engulfed in flames.
- Told you to fix my stealth gen, tvajumat. Not even ten minutes passed when we arrived and I started vrecking havoc already.
- We got to keep your style right? When you land, we'll send the required parts.
- Very well.
- Drop it nachui!- Seeing as words alone won't work, Vlad set the blaster's soundwave power to "stun" he fired at the two and took away their guns after they collapsed.
- Let's go home Seth. I'm so hungry I could eat a bull.
- Whatever.
((Lena arrived in NC about the same time that Kane did))

Melony blushed, "Um, I wasn't thinking about... Um..." Her face as red as a rose, Melony hid behind her menu. "What were those things you mentioned again?" She asked quickly to change the subject.

Kane had changed his mind a few blocks from the Dead men walking club and went to a shady bar instead. At once people inside were looking at him and talking, but he blocked the buzzing out. "Give me a beer."
The man behind the counter opened one and handed it to him. "Five dollars."
Kane looked at him for a long time before handing him the money. "I'll give you hundred times that if you find someone who can find a certain person for me."
"So you want me to find someone to find someone." the man behind the counter laughed. "Depends who you're looking for now, doesn't it?"
"I'm looking for Inferno." Kane answered.
The bar went silent at once and a rather big guy rose and walked over to him, grabbing his neck. "What the hell do you wanna do socialising with one of them hero-guys?"
Kane broke the mans arm without even looking up, but didn't let go of it, ignoring the whimpering from the guy. "Who should I talk to if I wish to know about Inferno?"
The barkeeper motioned for Kane to follow him through a door, and lead him into a room where some guys sat playing poker around a table. "Kazaya, there's a guy here who wants to talk to you."
A japanese-looking man looked up and spoke with a perfect american accent. "What do you want?"
"Inferno, where is he?"
"Five grand."
Kane tossed it over to the man who counted it. "If he wishes to see you he will meet up soon. What is your name?" the japanese man asked him
"Jack Kane."
"I've heard of you. Meet him outside the dead men walking club, he should be able to find it."
Kane nodded and left. This bar always had the best informants.

Kane had sortof disguised himself; wearing a long trenchcoat, a hat and sunglasses he hadn't chosen the best way to become invisible on a sunny day. He stood waiting on the sidewalk opposite the dead men walking club.

The japanese man had an associate send a message through several tv-stations, the text read:
*Inferno: An old friend from the first war wish to meet you again at the dead men walking club, he is waiting for you*
Not the best, but he hadn't taken very much money for the job so he didn't really care. This was all up to faith at the moment, if Inferno showed up Kane were lucky.

"Oh, he should be around here soon. Its a busy night for them it looks." said Ouroboros as he looked around. He looked back at Melony and then asked, "Is something wrong?"
Inferno showed up at the club on his motorcycle with his leather jacket and biker helmet on. Inferno tensed, allowing hot air to swirl around him invisibly, ready to expel his energy outwards should a bullet come his way.

"What?" She seemed to be shocked out of some kind of trance, "Oh, no, nothing is wrong..." In reality, her mind was slipping in and out of an emotionless calm and quiet. No matter how hard she tried, Melony couldn't focus continuously on something. What's wrong with me?
"Actually, that was a lie. Something is wrong with..." For a second, her eyes literally turned black, and then their color returned. Melony coughed a and gasped for breath when it disappeared.

Kane stepped forward, removing his hat as he gestured toward Inferno to look his way. He smiled slightly. "Why are you so nervous, think an old friend is gonna harm you? It's been a long long time since we last met."

"You can't trust anyone anymore. Besides, you've tried to kill me more than once before. I'm not about to give you a kiss on the cheek or anymore. Besides, I might end up leaving a mark...like a burn mark or something, not like lipstick or anything." replied Inferno.
