Long and thick, because disproportionately large hands/claws was my line of thought.
Really draw the viewer's eye towards the hands which are the creature's most important body parts as a beast that attacks by throwing.
Similar hand shape to my Therion Claws in the Empusa drawing* I did, though possibly fused skin and talons.

I've got a few projects lined up, but the Gog is kinda tempting.
Though I could also let Avi handle this one and I'll dive onto the next creature possibly.

for the pic...it seems to me that the hands are rather big in that pic, but the "claws" themselves (as cutty parts of/at the tip of the fingers) are rather short...long claws, in hand-claw relation, I view more like the ones of good ol' wolverine or longer: (which are, of course, not natural, but to get an idea of what I think of as long)
for who will draw it...I do not want to take either of you a chance...perhaps you can talk out who draws which of the creatures? I think there are enough for both 
also, next question: How many Eyes shall the Gog/Imp have?

2 eyes, the gogs, I'd say should aim for something a little uncanny.
Close enough to humans in shape that one might even consider if they maybe even are... or rather were human to begin with.
(which would echo their historical depiction)
I also think there are other demons in the line-up that can make better use of the "more eyes" trait.

For the Posture/stance for the artwork of this creature...since that shall only be an artwork pose, I think it can be the artists choice, or not? Especially sicne you know best what you can and want to do...
so, for more questions...how 'bout the ear shape?

Alright. I've done a quick mockup already, but it's starting to get late where I live, so I prolly won't get anything done until tommorow. If you're done with the Imp/Gog questioning, then call it a wrap and begin with the next one
