fine. proceeding to the Fungal creature.
okay, here some proposals for this creature by me.
Parasitism (These creatures can grow themselves onto a large enemy creature any time. Every fungal turn, the enemy creature is damaged and the fungal is healed, including ressurection. The fungal has no other option of acting. The enemy creature and other enemy creatures can attack the fungal creature, still. However, ANY external damage (not coming from this ability) goes half to this creature half to the enemy it's parasiting. The ability lasts until half of the fungal creatures or the enemy stack are dead.)
OR
Fungal Spores (When fungal creatures attack an enemy, they leave spores in this enemy. Spores decrease enemy stats, and their effect increases every turn, while the spores spread in the enemy stack, up to a certain maximum)
OR
Fungal Growth (At the beginning of each week, a stack of fungal creatures grows a bit)

woah, fine.
We're at the spider now *grin*
Which of these abilities for it?
Crawling (the spider can crawl over many obstacles and over walls, but it won't avoid things like rivers, moats, etc. nor can it travel over enemies)
OR
Spider Venom (When a spider attacks, it inflicts the enemy with a wicked poison, dealing damage every turn)
OR
Spider Venom (When a spider attacks, it inflicts the enemy with a wicked poison, decreasing their initiative more and more)
OR
Spider Venom (When a spider attacks, it inflicts the enemy with a wicked poison, decreasing their defense more and more)
OR
Spider Venom (When a spider attacks, it inflicts the enemy with a wicked poison, decreasing their initiative)
OR

now, we come to the Manticore
It naturally has Flying. What Else?
Sting (Manticores have a poisonous sting, which will sometimes work in an attack. An enemy poisoned by a Manticore is slowed Down)
OR
A better idea by you
OR
Nothing more

Sting sounds all right, but I think the ability should also reduce the defense of the targeted unit stack (unless there's already a creature with that ability, or it's considered overpowered).

How about:
Gluttony - When a manticore kills the last creature in a stack, it will "devour" it, removing the corpse from the battlefield which prevents revival/resurrection.
Wikipedia:
It devours its prey whole. It leaves no clothes, bones, or possessions of the prey behind. During the early centuries, it was often believed that when a person would go missing, it was evidence that it was caused by a manticore and that manticore were real.

YES
Just what are the Faceless anyway? Are they literally faceless or Cthulhian abominations?

looks & unit backgroudn will be defined (proably much) later. However, in my eyes, in terms of HoMM, faceless are rather sinister, shadowy humanoids who have no face, in some way...
Ah, to remember. Faceless are, necessarily, IMMUNE to Blind...cannot blind someone without face^^
now, they may have another ability, allthoguh that allready are 2.
Which of these do you see fitting?
Command (Once per battle, the faceless can sacrifice their turn to give one command to any unit, friend or foe. Friends perform the command directly, yet loose their next turn (so they just act earlier), foes will act like commanded at their next turn, if possible. That command may not include attacking allies of the target creature and such.)
OR
Dark Arts (Whenever someone else than the faceless casts a dark magic spell, they regain a bit mana, depending on the spell - mightier spells will let them regenerate more mana)
OR
An idea by you
OR
No more ability for unupgraded Faceless

Now, we come to the *dark, hollow laugh* SOULLESS
WHich of these Abilities shall it have
Teleport (Shadow Lords move as shadows. NOTHING can hinder them in their movement, they just seem to appear at the target position within their movement Range)
OR
Shadow (This creature is not only immune to any kind of dark/shadow damage, it even absorbs 50% of it as healing)
OR
Immune to Dark (This creature is immune to all kind of Dark damage)
OR
Immune to Dark (This creature is immune to all kind of Dark damage and Dark Magic.)
OR
Shadow (This creature is not only immune to any kind of dark/shadow damage and dark magic, it even absorbs 50% of it as healing - for dark magic: it turns the negative effects into positive effects)
OR
Shadow Body ("Shadow" or "Immune to Dark" [both in any wished form] + this creature's damage is 50% physical, 50% dark damage)
OR
Teleport + Shadow [In any wished form]
OR
Teleport + Immune to Dark [In any wished Form]
OR
Teleport + Shadow Body [In any wished Form] This would make us proceed to the next creature...

ah. and which of these?
Darkness Striking (When a Shadow Lord attacks, a random Dark Magic Curse is cast on the target enemy creature BEFORE the attack)
OR
Darkness Striking (When a Shadow Lord attacks, a random Dark Magic Curse is cast on the target enemy creature AFTER the attack, but before the retaliation)
OR
Darkness Striking (When a Shadow Lord attacks, a random Dark Magic Curse is cast on the target enemy creature AFTER the attack & Retaliation
OR
Darkness Striking (When a Shadow Lord attacks, a random Dark Magic Curse or Damage Spell is cast on the target enemy creature BEFORE the attack)
OR
Darkness Striking (When a Shadow Lord attacks, a random Dark Magic Curse or Damage Spell is cast on the target enemy creature AFTER the attack, but before the retaliation)
OR
Darkness Striking (When a Shadow Lord attacks, a random Dark Magic Curse or Damage Spell is cast on the target enemy creature AFTER the attack & Retaliation)
OR
Shadow Cloak (Activated ability. The ability remains active until the Shadow Lord moves, attacks or acts, or when an enemy moves into the Shadow Cloak. As long as it's active, the enemy cannot see or target the shadow Lord or any creature adjacent to it. Creatures other than the shadow Lord under the cloak can still cast spells, range-attack and use abilities, whithout revealing their position (the animation will come from the middle of the cloak)
OR

Touch of Darkness - Activated ability. The Shadow Lord performs a melee attack like it would normally, but instead of dealing damage, the target creature loses a turn and has 1-3 random curses cast on it.
Functions similarly to Harm Touch the H5 Wraiths had.
oh, and I'm nearly done with writing another faction idea! I'll add it to my existing thread
