Some random scientist found a better tech for combating Alzheimer's disease, how amaizing that this new discovery will take another couple of years to get o the public unless you are rich.

But if he didn't find it, it'd never get to the public.

I forgot to add,if it ever gets to the public...

If that new drug costs 100.000$...;Not a huge impact in society.

Then why can't we have this amazing snow right now then?

technology is overrated. Most of the tech developments do not affect the whole populance and are idiotic at best.
I can't help but notice you're probably using a PC to write this on the Internet. Sounds like technology to me.
But no, you're right, technology is useless. What good are the Internet, computers, mp3 players, refrigerators, microwaves, cars, phones, vaccines, surgeries, etc. No good at all, right?

I never said useless,i said overrated.

Most things that are developed and never end to really benefit someone.

I am still using a 256 mb USB flash MP3 player. You know,if you bought a phone 5 years earlier, the only difference with the new ones is their increasing milti-function ability.
Do you really need a phone with a camera,mp3 player, operating system,WIFI and what not?
Sure, they are flashier and shinier, does that make me more mobile than i was before with the 5 year old phone?

I dont know what to say about vaccines, surgeries and such. Methods did improve, efficiency did improve...
Some medication procedures cost like 50.000$.Did technology really help people like me and you with that 50.000$ medication procedure?

You know,as long as tech is affordable and reasonable,I support it.

Not really,not at all.

Need - no. But I've found Wi-Fi to be very useful. Having the Internet in your pocket is convenient.
