I did Tempest on elite. Great run definitely. I have seen a few Xorian Cipher quests pop up and I mean to do them but as soon as I click join it's always too late. lol

Gianthold Blizz. Get that one, its a fantastic pack.
And go for it Will, great run is Xorian. But the first part can be confusing. As soon as you are in the quest you run like hell to the shrine. Everything will follow you and attack you, but you need to fight them at the shrine.

Ah yes, I've seen Gianthold posted more than a few times.
Giants are fun. I'll buy that one.
I might just do a couple runs on Tempest this evening though and get that airship. I bet I could get it in ~2 hours.

Gianthold has a great wilderness and many really good quests. You need to flag to do Gianthold Tor which is another great quest (fighting giants and dragons and getting to pots of gold). Plus you collect relics and dragon scales to get enhancements to armor etc.

I keep wanting to do a little crafting also, but everytime I go to the crafters hall it just looks so tedious to sort through all that crap and I give up a minute later and go do a quest 
I have a bunch of essences sitting in my bank, but none of them are lesser essences, and that's what I need to do the low level crafting. I guess there's a way to break up my greater essences? I need to read up on it sometime.

Well if you like I can send you any essences and components I loot. I don't craft, I find it boring in the extreme. Plus I don't need weapons so it seems pointless. I switch off when players go on about their green steel or enhanced items ........ zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Isn't it a great way to haul in the $$$?
I still need to decide if it's a huge bore or not. If it involves sitting around at the machine for hours on end like some MMOs, then I'll avoid it like the plague.

No the crafting itself it pretty fast, its collecting the components that's the challenge. Any crafting I've witnessed on ddo, is similar to using the Stone of Change (in Marketplace) ... only a few seconds.

Crafting is rather fun, and really simple. But I admit, most things can be easier to buy than anyhting else...but throwing together a supreme corrosion I weapon with a low-level mage or sorcerer, by destroying a few sucky acid touch weapons really bumps up the acid spray. 
But yes, easier to buy than to make, that's for sure. 
I've been bored lately...I don't seem to be able to find a class I can be happy with , or rather, I'm so happy with every single class that I can't seem to be able to decide on one!
Now I've dropped in on Myddo.com and checked out our guild list, and I noticed that we don't have a bard!
I'm seriously considering trying that out later, and I'll see how that goes. If I like it, I might update around level 3 and request another invite. ^^
And another thing, lately I've really gone crazy with the hotbars, and especially the clickies. With my latest char I had 4 hotbars completely filled at level four, and I was a ranger with a single spell. D:
Anyone else with this "problem"?

I operate on 2 hotbars with Zerru. My primary bar has my acrobat stance, my rage, my haste boost, along with my 5 human boosters (skill, save, attack, damage, armor) and my improved uncanny dodge. My secondary hotbar has my weapon, my secondary weapon, my ranged weapon, my dismiss rage, and my activated rogue skills (sneak, open lock, search, disable trap).
I haven't been using activated items lately (my items are all stat/skill boosters) and I haven't had the need either, as the parties I'm with seem to sufficiently kick ass without needing to rely on such things.
At some point I'm going to be carrying a few handy wands with me too. Use Magic Device is a demanding skill (rightfully so). It's too bad my charisma isn't higher, but that was the ability that needed to be dumped for me.

Wow Os why so many clickies??
The only time I've had more than three hotbars was on my level 20 cleric (she had 7).
You only need spells, boosts and immediate stuff for hotbars.

I say we spread our shenanigans to other servers! (I want to make a bard, but don't want to delete the others) Who wants to make a mostly all specialists guild (bard, rogue, ranger), for teh lulz?

It's a tragic habit of mine to be honest. I'm always thinking "oh, this would be great to have", and then I keep it. 
I'm also the guy that normally stock up on potions but never use them, as I always think "this could be handy at another time".
Oh, and for "what are the stuff I have there?", a picture says more than a thousand words:
But really, I'm the first to admit that half of these are probably unnecessary, but that's just like me, stocking up on "might be good" stuff. .
Oh, and the bard might come to life shortly, if I can find a name, decide on which character will disappear, and what kind of build I'll go with...

I sell everything extra. Sell it all and use it to purchase MORE POWERFUL items, which I'll eventually replace with even MORE POWERFUL ITEMS.

Well, I know. But it's more comfy this way. I don't find them being in the way at all.
But when I add the fifth or sixth, sure. 
Pondering name, pondering name...I have to say that that is the #1 hardest thing in a RPG, finding a game that you can be happy with, esp. in an MMORPG when 9/10 of the ones you like are already taken.
I'm thinking of taking the easy road and take one of the singers that I like to listen to, but that seems cheap in some strange way...

No one's playing anymore! I was thinking about this whole crafting thing... would it be worth me becoming a crafting monkey so i can make us all good stuff? the trade off would have to be that people would have to provide me with all their essences and stuff. I'm just so sick of having rubbish gear. I want to make my own!
