If you're going to be piercing focused you'd be better off with a light pick in your off hand so you can get the +1 bonus for each weapon.
I guess there aren't any exotic melee piercing weapons, are there?

Light pick or shortsword. Shortsword has a higher crit percentage unless the light pick has keen. A burst SS will almost always be better than a keen light pick because the pick can't have both keen and burst, while a short sword can.

Just remember that short swords are slashing, so if you're going piercing focus, your SS won't benefit from weapon focus or improved crit.
I'd either have both slashing weapons or both piercing weapons.

Right guys, now that our Guild is Level 20, we can actually buy our first airship. Now the Windspyre Sparrow goes for 50,000 plat. As officers you can all contribute to this. Otherwise someone has to purchase Astral Diamonds and that costs real money, so is a no no in my book.
If you want go to the Harbor and check the airship showroom. The Windspyre merchant is on the right as you go in.

Oh and I want to say - Well done on gaining so much guild renown so quickly. You've all done a great job ... I'm so proud *welling up* ... hold on *blows nose*.

Is everyone just going to give money to someone who can but the airship? I'd give it to Zerru, or Elektrah because you're on all the time (ish). Bubsa is often on same time as me as well...

Make Marloh an officer, then I shall consider it. Also, i'm in a bit of a fix. I mailed myself 9000pp but it won't let me take it out of the letter because i've exceeded my trade limit! How do i get it out?!

I dropped 10k in the bucket, and will be expecting the following amenities in my luxury airship cabin:
-evocation-powered air conditioning
-darkwood furnished walls
-levitating bed with silkworm sheets
-glass windows with forest green velvety shades
-crystal tableware
-a pet white cat with blue eyes
-a forest green and gold elven-crafted rug with +5 stain resistance, so I don't get it dirty after trekking in with my muddy boots after spelunking in who-knows-what kind of dungeon.
-an alcove with shelves of each side where I can store my reading material and crafting recipes

Your list of demands are rather interesting however, imagine my surprise to find:-

Oh Blizz you are such the gentlemen. Its nice to know I can rely on you then when I'm too scared to sleep alone due to my fear of the dark. And I know you won't mind my vast collection of cuddly toys coming with me. 
The airships have a nice steady hum, you may find it soothing, and I promise to install some hammocks, so you guys can act like fools and have fun 
Not sure how many hook points we can utilize or even if we can immediately. I have to download ddo again (after my computer crash). So as soon as I can check I will.

EDIT: I've had to download skype again and now it won't give me my login and name back, so I've had to create another login MercyMe14 is what is gave me .... ugh *rolls eyes*. So add me guys when you get a chance and I should have calmed down by then and not lost my temper.

I did a hard run on Tempest Spine last night and made ~15k from the single trip.
I didn't throw it in the pot yet though. I need to hold off and then purchase the ship in one fell swoop, followed by making a list of outrageous demands, including that Meroe's spunky butt has no choice but to bunk up with me in her whitey tighties.

I love Tempest Spine ... such a great run, although can be rather trying as a healer. I haven't done it yet as a Sorcy, so looking forward to it. Has anyone done Xorian Cipher yet .... its an interesting one for sure as is Delerium, where you have to get Beholders drunk
Well I'm hoping you guys start coughing up some plat otherwise its going to be Blizz's airship and I know what side my breads buttered on . So come on guys, don't leave it all to Blizz. I'm putting in basically all I have (I haven't been questing recently so its nowhere near Blizz's contribution).
