Is the logistics ability really giving me +3% movement bonus?

How's that any helpful? It's barely an extra step...

I thought it just gives 3 additional movement points. No?
MP seems to be a fractional number now.

Campaign was good until AI hanged. So I tried free-for all and... already got bored. It was like two hours. Everything is repeatable, predictable. Also, messed descriptions don't help to take tactical decisions.

You mean creeping? well killing 1000 neutrals per turn was always repetitive and it's really hard to make it not

I imagine they overnerfed it; after all, it has been crazy good in nearly every incarnation of the series. Hopefully it gets a bit of a shot in the arm.

Because you seriously think it was any different in the previous games ? You played one game, you've seen it all.

1. Health is no more an integer. See these pictures:

Both wolf stacks have more than 47 health points left but your sentinels deal different damage when attacking the upper stack of wolves and the bottom one.

Did you attack one stack with your hero ? The knight's Heroic Strike applies Mark of the Heretic which makes your units deal 1 more damage

LOL to the explanation above.
At the moment, taking only the beta in account, I would have preferred another H5 expansion. Srsly after playing this I now LOVE H5. Sry.

I just got a "Week of Sulfur" in the campaign, which explicitly calls out the fact that sulfur got cut from the game. :\

This may have been mentioned before, but did they not say the battlefield would be bigger? It has a length of 12 squares, equal to the Heroes V one. Yet another broken promise.

Also, why is "Reinforcements II" passive, and not active?

When Heroes 6 was announced, I was disappointed because Heroes 5 would be abonded. I feared that H6 will be just a game with shiny graphics. In a way I was wrong. I played private beta, and I'm playing public. Can't say that I'm impressed. First of all, I don't like towns. It's not just town screen, there are no buildings like blacksmith, mage guild or creature growth boost. And joined creature pool is ridiculous. In my opinion, even Heroes 1 had better towns. Area of control is not that bad idea, but in the end it made multiplayer map boring and non-replayable. Hero leveling has potential, but it is too slow (though it may be changed, this is beta). I fear, though, that I will end up choosing the same skills over and over, because I like them. There should be some kind of random element. Creatures are fine, I like them, though creature abilities are not that unique anymore. (strike and return, healing...).

I'll probably buy Heroes 6, because I have all the others, but I'm not impressed. Good thing in all of this is that we have Quantomas and his AI patch for Heroes 5

Huh, it is the same size? They definitely did say it would be larger. Hadn't noticed, to be honest.

This probably means sanctuary is OP, as my powergamerish soul is helpessly drawn to the most imbalanced things each game has.

It was pure genius to tie Qps to Flood Protect!

Anyways, does anybody else find the catapult upgrades to be underwhelming?  I barely noticed any difference with the first 2.

Summon Leonardo DiCaprio, I found a bug within a bug.
While looking at one of these scenes where the AI fights against neutrals - in this case Phoenixes, I noticed that the damage-reflecting ability of the latter literally obliterated its army. The AI was Inferno and the battle went as follows:
7 Lacerators attack 40 Phoenixes - 7 Lacerators die from damage reflection. Doesn't look good, but one could say that it's borderline reasonable. However...
120 Demented attack 40 Phoenixes... and 120 Demented die from the damage reflection.
85 Cerberi attack 34 or 35 Phoenixes and 85 Cerberi die from the damage reflection.
And then the AI figured out that it has to retreat... The Phoenixes did not retaliate even once by the way. Scary...

I haven't even bothered with them yet.

As Haven it's so easy to just melee the gates down with Praetorians because they take like zero damage from ranged attacks, especially with multiple stacks adjacent to one another.
