I believe it is a matter of execution. The Matriarchal stuff is not wrong the execution is. I mean, I for one expecting something less "sl**ty". I am talking about the Blood Sister and Matriarch. Their clothing is a bit well out of place and don't forget the whip.
I am expecting something more savage for the dark elves. The reason why I choose Dark Elves over the Wizard because the Faceless possibility to fill the rank, it supposed to be interesting to see one, although the "Butterfly" Faceless we saw earlier wasn't the one I expecting but it is very interesting to see the other type of unit, I for one especially interested to see this kind of unit on earlier Lodreit's Artwork:
and finally of course the Elusive Black Dragon that had been staple of Heroes game up to Heroes V. The ones in Heroes V was horrible but the current art direction is much better that I expecting something awesome. Of course, aesthetically, it is hard to say about ability and racial design up to this point.
As for the Wizard (Academy or Tower). They will be interesting to be included but up to now, I sense that developers are paranoid about Academy's line up. The ones in Heroes V is pretty much a copy-pasta of Heroes III with Rakshasha is the exception but still not new concept since it replace Naga as multiple Bladed Arms creature. It would be interesting to see the totally different kind of Academy but I have a feeling it is most unlikely we will get something different. Just my personal opinion though.

If we see a faceless in Dungeon like the "librarian" (don't know if it's his real name), which creature will be the Champion? Him or the Black Dragon?
Afterall I suppose that faceless are somehow as strong as the angels.

Maybe they will add some beastmen in Academy. I mean, the Wizards created the beastmen, however they never use them

If Dungeon comes back, my guess is Faceless will be Champion and Black Dragon will be a Boss. I don't like it, but I think that's how it's gonna be. But who knows anyway.

The oldest black dragon grow so big that become boss, but other black dragons still remain just good for champions

Ubihole made some artists draw 8 different dragons. Even if I don't like most of them, at least they are different. It would be unforgiveable to have the same dragon just with different textures...
At least, since they didn't made the "Librarian" a black angel, I think we still can hope for different dragons in expansions. And tomorrow we will probably see if the water/light elemental will be just like the mizukami and glory (sorry, but I still can't accept the fact that they won't be at least a bit different).

Marzhin already hinted that the Dungeon (should it be back in the game) couldn't be without dragons as champions
Also putting Faceless as champion would be a double non-sense :
1. They're almost extinct, so how could you have a dwelling producing them ?
2. Faceless are the equivalent of Angels so unless they make some faceless/darkelf hybrids (as a counterpart to Seraphims/Celestials), I highly doubt Faceless can be mere champions. It would be like putting Uriel and Michael as simple champions

They lost the war because the Angels allied with all the other races to beat the Faceless, so it's hinting rather the opposite - that Faceless were much stronger than Angels.
Angels also got almost exterminated in this war which is why they convinced the Humans to worship Elrath.

Ad 2: Well, in my head, the Champion of Haven is stil Angels, but I guess you are right, they made this (strange) distinction between Angels and Celestials.
Right then, I guess it will be the other way around then, Dragons as Champion, and Faceless as Boss? Unless we get Faceless as boss and a lesser creatures that looks like a Faceless but is in fact a lesser version of it as Champion.

I voted dungeon and academy, because I think that woud be really cool, I don't really care for Heroes 5 sylvan much, but I think that sylvan and Academy are the most likely. Then if/when we get 2 factions in expansion 2 we can have Fortress and Dungeon, Finish the whole dark elves story, and have the Dwarves and Dark elves do that war thing that they are supposed to do.

When I mentioned the elf overload I was mainly referring to Sylvan + Dungeon being more than 50% elf. I think Sylvan alone was quite fine, infact I liked the faction. They could include Sylvan with Green Dragons and Dancers replaced, and other units just renewed for H6. Dwarves would be a fine replacement to Dancers (as I don't think Fortress as it was in H5 will be returning), though I'm lacking suggestions for the dragons.

I see many people have voted for Dungeon and Academy, but I think that's impossible. I don't see that they will ever put Dungeon but not Sylvan. Wouldn't it be wierd to have have dark elves but not the flowersniffers? I mean, it would be like we have Haven but don' have the Inferno faction.
