I can't recall. In any case, the attacked creatures do NOT retaliate, nor there is any indication that they actually do so I'd say this is a bug or something incomplete at the very least.

And the radiant aura around them isn't an indication? In any case, they don't retaliate at all, whereas with that armor, you see them retaliate for 0 damage.

I wonder if the same applies to for instance Liches / Ghosts / Namtarus against Shadow Elementals, since the first cannot hit the latter, while the latter can hit the first.

ok incomplete retaliation animation & log at least (or just a programming shortcut)...was mainly giving specific statement arguing for depleting retaliations.

@Maurice, so no-one attacks anything in this game with a 'radiant aura'? (no need to answer that)...but where's the info about liches etc not able to damage shadow elemental? can't find shadow elemental in manual & darkness elemental doesn't mention this?

You are not an idiot It is the following sentence of the description that counts. It says "Might does more damage". As Might increases the power of Hero's attack, I think this skill makes it much more powerful or gives the ability to have a lucky strike with hero's attack. I don't know which one. As I haven't played any other faction, I don't know if all have lucky strikes. But I kill many units with my Hero's attack.

It calles 3 Phoenixes which don't do any damage really They are just early game baits for the neutrals for me now or to disable a ranger unit by putting Phoenix nex to it. It is unfortunate how this feared unit has become this weak. I guess there should be a way to call more and make the spell useful.

I was in beta, but i was expecting that they fixed most of the bugs in the release version.

There are some prety obvious bugs that i don't know how did they release with such bugs ... like the already mentioned

- Upgrade Griffin Dive not doing dmg
- Luck doing nothing

Just to name a couple. Strangelly all my achievs on the campaing were added and Anton was also added to my hero list. The weapons that i got in the necro campaign were added. Is this a bug in heaven campaign? Or was just some instability in conflux or something???

Try it and you'll see. Fact is, the Liches, Ghosts and Namtarus (Spider Form, I forgot to add ... bipedal form is able to hit them just fine) do Shadow Damage. Darkness Elementals are immune to Shadow Damage, so Liches, Ghosts and Spider Namtarus can't hit them. It doesn't prevent Darkness Elementals from hitting them, however.

Edit: I may be mixing up the names; they're not solid in my memory yet ... Shadow Elemental or Darkness Elemental, it's the one you can summon through a Darkness spell, in any case.

At least for me, this disnaty weapon bug, was the biggest bug i found in game.

Grif skill not doing dmg
Crusader passive not increasing dmg
Luck not increasing dmg

all that kind of bugs are minor inconvenients, but i just lost, about 20 hours of game progress. i don't remember exactlty how many but i believe i got 3 or 4 dinasty weapons in the campaign and one of them was almost lvl4.

so i need to ask some questions. What event triggers the adition of the dinasty weapon? I mean, is the completion of the map in wich you acquired it? Completion of the campaign? Just acquiring the weapon? Did this happened to anyone else? Is this just happening in heaven campaign? Or is it a global bug (instabilitty) on conflux?

I must say that i'm pretty cautious about starting another campaign, if this is a bug in conflux i'll just put the campaign on hold until this is fixed and i'll play multiplayer instead.

In any case, on a more different matter I admire the dedication of all of you guys especially those that have obviously spent days and days trying to play this game, but does it really matter if we make zounds of bug reports? I mean, many folks say numerous bugs were reported in the Beta and are stil present in the final release and even currently (after 3 patches) What does that say about the developpers/managers/heads of this project
I love where this episode of homm could've been but I'm beginning to seriously doubt it will ever get there..

Yeah ... the bug on dynasty is a known bug, i need to recheck every single dynasty i should've gotten. I -->THINK<-- all my weapons on necro campaign got saved, but i'm not shure. All i know is that i got all weapons as i explored ALL the maps in both necro and heaven maps

I need to backtrack everysingle one of them and proced to do this "fix", this is ridiculous. I'll prob need to replay both campaigns again that's about 30-40 hours of gameplay

Not very happy right now. Not to mention you need to do this "work around" every time you get a new weapon. This is the kind of bug that you can't allow in a final version of a game.

Major drawback to me.

i remember getting the weapon, if my memory is not failing me it was somewhere in the northwest part of the map, it was protected by some champion

i can't give you any specifics, but it's in the somewhat in the path to complete one of the main quests.

since i'll have to revisit the map to get the weapon again, i'll tell you with more accuracy, can't tell you when, since i'll have to restart the necro and haven campaign.

Remember to do the workaround EVERY time you get a new weapon, otherwise you'll end like me

Maybe this is just for me but Guardian Angel is only available during the enemy's turn. When it's my turn it gets greyed out but during the enemy it lights up as it should. Anyone else got this bug? I'm playing the tutorial campaign.
Edit: nvm the tutorial had not introduced it yet so that's why I couldn't use it.

-When inferno magic hero change to Pyromancer or Demonist she/he is using a sword and a staff during the changing scene.

-Phoenix die animation is very buggy.

-Phoenix rebirth isn't working.

-Imperial Griffin diving Assault don't do any damage.

-Jaguar Warriors & Panter Warriors don't have special attack animation for critical attack.

-Pit Fiend & Pit Lord don't have an critical attack scene.

-Some abilities in the Might Ability section are in the Prime class.

I have experienced 3 major bugs so far. (1.1.1)

1) There are regular disconnects in games. You get victory screen or  you are disconnected message. After those disconnect there is often message that you dont have your hero and game cant be loaded by one player. The other player often can load but not always, sometimes it wont start game after all players hit ready and you hit launch button. When you take older saves it works again though.

2) My in game chat window bugged out. There was a lag at certain moment in game and i was moving my chat window at the same time and i assume it must have been moved out of my sight. as i cant click on it, i cant bring it back or reset it in any way.

3) I can not do anything other than looking at my map while waiting for my turn when playing multiplayer games, all my resources are hidden, i cant even look at full map because i cant go down below the ground because buttons for it are hidden too, i cant browse my heroes nor towns, i can stare at my screen and wait 30 min until my opponent finishes his turn is all i can do.


Please fix those issues asap.

Still, it says that they will know whether or not it will be lucky beforehand, for which there is no indication given whether it will or won't.  Even though Might increases the luck damage, it's still gimped by not actually giving you the info it says it should.

Can anyone care to give me a full list of the dynasty weapons found in necro and  haven campaign? I also need the maps in wich they are found, so i can do these maps agains.

These are the weapons i got

- Iron Feather (i did the 1st map again, just to remake the grif quest and get the sword ... lvl 1 again)
- Sword of Griffin
- Edge of Chaos
- Staff of Asha's Eightfold
- Staff of Clensing
- Heartrending Song
- Soulreaver Staff
- The Oblivion
- Staff of Sandro

So, wich one is missing from necro and haven? And where can i get it again?? Please help me :~

The ethrall (I don't remember the exact name of the ability) says that when a creature affected by it is attacked, the effects are dispelled. This is not the case, ethrall continues to affect the creature even if it is attacked.

During a session I decided to change one of my dinasty weapons with another one. When fighting, if I right click one of my stacks to see which abilities affect my creatures, one ability of the weapon I no longer use (sword of wolf) is still shown to be affecting the creature. I don't know if it really affects the stack or it's just displayed. In any case it's a bug.

Overall the game leaves a bad impression due to the high number of bugs. Considering that they had a loooooooot of time for beta testing with its different stages and that the game was postponed several times, I believe that the game is a fail at release.

Why would tears get a quest rewarding them with xp, an artifact and 100 tears points but not blood ? 100 additional blood points would be very welcome, especially after a map where not a single stack flees ...  Unless it's Ubisoft's new view upon balance ?


Other bug : Reaching a new blood or tears rank doesn't boost the passive skills as it's supposed to do.
