~ Heroes 6 patch 1.1.1 - Discussion thread ~
This thread is for discussing your oppinions on the most recent edition of Might And Magic: Heroes 6 - patch 1.1.1.
As the game is released, I guess it's time to put the old discussion thread to rest. You can still find it here. It served us well for some 500 pages, and about the same number that got deleted along the way.

But seriously, I am really enjoying the new iteration so far. I have played the first two maps of the campaign.
For once we have decent voice acting in a HoMM game!  Love the darker setting and the way coloring is used to differentiate the various factions. Colorful, but more serious. Very well done.
Animations are very detailed as well! And I think this is the first HoMM game which has full multiplayer out of the box!
So far a good first impression (although I had hoped for the fullscreen, properly animated, town screens).

This better be a joke. The game crashes on startup, all I get is a few black flashes and then a crash.
After doing some research it turns out that it's most probably my laptop GPU (GT540m), which handled the beta just fine.

I can't remember 2, but you're right. 3 had very good voice acting although a bit cheesy at times. My remark was meant as a pun cause 5's was so freakin' bad.

I don't get this attitude. It is obviously because of your machine and nothing about the game. Try re-installing or something. My game just flies smoothly. Yours is obviously not a problem about the game.
EDIT: And I see you already told that it is about your machine in your previous post. Then why blaming the game?

I agree, both the delivery of the lines and the campaign storylines themselves were extremely weak.
It didn't help that a majority of the cardboard characters were either hyper-fanatical zealots, clichés or plain oblivious to everything.
EDIT: On topic; H6's voice acting is decent, but I'm not particularly fond of the naga accents.

I did. There's a blacklist of GPUs that are considered incompatible, and I figure mine's on there too. Which is nonsense, as it ran the beta smoothly until 1.4. You'd expect they'd have fixed that but no...

You have to uninstall the game completely, to remove is from the registry as well, before you re-install. Try using Revo Uninstaller.
And yes, it would be wise to uninstall the beta as well.

I am unsatisfied, for reasons explained here. UbiHole screwed me over, good and proper. I'm sure the game's fine though, didn't try it yet.

I can't believe all the bugs that are still in the game. From what I'm hearing, it sounds like half the people are able to run the game just fine, and the other half aren't able to run it at all.
I mean, seriously?
This is why you delay the release, people. So that when you release the game, it goes off without a hitch.
This is just... embarrassing...

I think this is the problem, od Online distribution. TO many people download the game at the same time, and to many problems come out at once, this can overwhelm the producer

I think Kitty had a problem whit running the game

YEY I can talk now, Game is out, My contract expired, sadly not much I can talk about, most of it is commonly knowne :-D
