For the help
I finished the map 3 but , I must I realy HATED it  it was boring and not fun at all figthing the same figth over and over again. I couldnt explore the map ir do any side quest. Realy this map fails for me it was BORING !!!

abt the map 2 bug, which force me to replay.
i meet the sharka without being blood or tear path but after the cut scene i notice i cant upgrade to either. was it because of the quest or a bug?

It was awesome It forced you to change your default strategies so that you can both explore and defend your area and if you played your cards right it was fairly easy. Besides you could always bulk up Airini so that she could have the naga fights for herself.

Map 2 and 3 were great. Map 4 would have been cool if there was actually a challenge. ven though I played the whole campaign on normal, I found map 2 and 3 to give me a rough time, while map 4 was a bit of a let-down. There was no real pressure since I had some inferno portals spawning on far away islands and that even the closest portals weren't "spewing" inferno armies - I tried to let a portal open on my main island and I was more often attacked by Tynan through the one-way portal than by those booh-booh "invading" armies 
This map would have been perfect if :
1. the portals were only opening on the main island OR if all islands had some kind of one-way portal leading to the main island
2. the portals were more threatening (like spewing one army every 5-6 turns)
3. the AI player was bee-lining for my capitol

from ubisoft forum it seem that u need to equip and save game.

hello all, i'm attempting the stronghold campaign now .. and.. >_> having some trouble on map 1 on normal...
is it wise to use the haven units? i find griffins are too good not to be added... but that being sad, to have a sustainable supply, i need to cap the 2nd and 3rd town without converting them. hmm...
and i guess i'm only able to reach up to the part where you flee by the harbor... unfortunately.. the dragging problem occured again and i'm kinda in a very tight pinch. lol.
thanks for all the advice.

Doesn't seem worth using the Haven units imo. I prefer centaurs to griffins, especially with drain life .

hmm i know this is not the place to ask this.. but what's the difference between easy normal and hard? :\ lol. i'm kinda considering easy >_>.. just afraid that it would be too easy... >_>

Thus far all maps are cool, just play on hard like the rest of us

For someone new to the series I would indeed recommend easy. I have heard many new people complain about the AI giving them a hard time on the campaigns, even in normal. Remember, some have had a decade or so to build up on their heroes skills Each game is new yes but the formula remains the same for the most part.

I've always been terrible at strategy games. I decided I'd go with easy because normal always seems to make me angry after making several attempts to do the same thing over and over and over. I've concluded that, for me at least, I won't do normal or harder until I know the maps well enough to formulate a decent strategy.

Just a note. Regen and Drain life stack. So if you get a scroll of Mass Regen, and have a drain life or mass drain life..you should suffer a lot less losses against such as heroes or boss creatures

Level 4.... The one with 500 crystals, I traded for the crystals, get a scene which lets me know I have 7 days to kill that inferno warm... Where is it located on the map ?

I am still debating what to do with this campaign...stuck on map 2 with the bugged window. Restart or wait for fix(which may take months...)

Did you pick your advanced class in the first or the second map? If it's the second just restart it and wait after you've talked to Sharka. Regardless, you are obviously not going to wait for months but personally I'd start another mission to pass the time.

I picked my advanced class in the 1st map. Thats what I'm doing right now , doing other campaigns first.
