My time is up
As we all know, one cannot be a proper HC member without eventually creating a goodbye thread and now my time has come. As some of you know I have been summoned to join the Greek army for the next 9 months - no doubt because they heard of my awesome heroes tactical skills, not that it's obligatory or something. That means I will no longer be active until August, I may be able to sneak a peek but my presence will be pretty diminished. By the time I am a free citizen again I will finally be a useful and productive member of the society with skills such as delegating pointless chores to people beneath my station and peeling potatoes at a blinding speed. Until then I wish you the best and hope to see you here when I return. It has been a good time and I have seen my share of heroes generations, this is the beginning of a new one and it's a shame I won't be here to witness it. There are people here I can call friends and I am very grateful for that, I can only hope that one day I will meet you. I love this community and it has been like a second home to me, do your best to make others feel as welcome

Make sure you have fun, Elvin. Military can be an interesting experience if you find the right people to share it with. Also, 9 months is nothing.
I'll try to keep an eye on this place while you're gone.

It'll be a walk in the park, trust me. It's over before it starts and leaving you wanting more. I did 18 months and when I was "old", I didn't want it to end.
It's fun, you'll see! Well, that's unless there'll be a war between Turkey and Israel and we get involved. Or a military coup, and that's not so unlikely as it sounds.
If they'll send you over to any of the Aegean islands, that's gonna be fun. Like going to college for a second time and free too. If they're gonna send you up to Ebros, well, that's gonna suck. It's not very likely, but if they send you down to Crete, let me know so we can meet up!

Cya and have fun. I doubt it will be as bad as you think, but if it is... well, it's 9 months and you'll survive and more than likely get some character growth out of it. Think of it as a pregnancy, minus the baby.
This means there isn't going to be a H6 Duel Tournament (Elvin style) for the next 9 months unless somebody else makes a map for it. Hmm , that almost sounds like an invitation for me.

Nonsense, only one can set up the delicious and addictive experience of the Elvin style duels and the commitment to keep them running and continuously updated and improved That said I'd be curious to try your map. I know there would be plenty of changes to make, the game plays quite differently now.

I'm sure Elvin you are going to love your time training. And by the time you get back you will be able to astound us with your boot shining skills and ability to use only one sheet of bathroom tissue per visit
My grandad did his National Service (when they still did it in England) and said it was one of the best times of his life.
I believe you will excel Elvin.
