Yes, it's out but the patch notes are a copy/paste of what Irina posted back then.

Weren't we supposed to get more than that in the end? And what of all the bug fixes?

Do you have to manually download the patch? My game still haven't patched yet.

Never mind. That was stupid of me. Just run a gu.exe and the game will be auto updated.

Lol you are like me
I got 125 games + dlc on steam (steam id: x_ecutionner feel free to add me) and during sales my bank account goes "bankrupt" ^^.

You should consider doing the christmas achievement : this way you can win ANY games, or have different bonuses. They are easy to do.

Today you should buy : Orcs must die, Amnesia, Portal pack, and Metro 2033 for less than 25 € / $ (a third of the price of the rubish heroes 6 collector edition). These are all EPIC games. Trust me I own them.

After Irina got so severely bashed by forum members that even I felt sorry for her, in the official forums for not posting the proper patch notes; she now came around with it:


• Unit abilities fixes

o Sun Raider¢s Charge not awarding damage increase
o Imperial Griffin¢s Dive Assault not dealing any damage
o Fire Elemental¢s Cremation not dealing any damage

• Dynasty weapon fixes

o ¡Vanishing¢ Dynasty bug fixed and missing weapons are awarded.
o Various Weapon abilities
o Dynasty Weapons now gain XP when equipped by secondary Heroes

• Ability fixes

o Water Magic ability now affects the Ice Bolt ability normally
o Pain Mirror now has a damage limit
o Duck and Cover now works normally
o The Terror ability does not cause damage anymore
o Retribution Aura III now deals less damage

• General fixes

o Critical Hits triggered by Luck not doing the extra damage
o Week of plague
o Town and mine income
o Tactics phase setup is now remembered from one battle to another.

• Map fixes

o Stronghold 2 message is now clickable by the users that upgraded their avatars on Stronghold
o Custom heroes can be properly selected at the final campaign screen.

That's their bug fixes...

Kind of expected more, you know? Well, I mean it took them so long...

What saddens me is the vanishing dynasty weapons bug is not fixed in a way to unlock those you should have unlocked, meaning I have to play the missions again to unlock those that I missed. Really, it's a bother...

Nope.  No games for Nicholas.  The only games I have purchased since October have been as presents for other people.  I have too many games I have yet to even play.  I should at least attempt to beat said games before buying more.

Thankfully, aside from the new King's Bounty expansion, there isn't a whole lot on the horizon I am interested in.

That was an overkill, and a completely misdirected one. Sure, Ubisoft proved as usual that what they can mess up, they will certainly mess up on 100% but the response it generated looked like an outrage explosion of a brainless angry mob. Irina is by now some forsaken zombie apocalypse survivor which is supposed to do the impossible task of dealing with the huge enraged crowd while sticking to the idiotic PR policy of Ubisoft at the same time. Admittedly she could do better but by no means does she deserve what she got in the thread in question.

I don't get why people QQ.

I like the patch, it fixes a lot of things such as Luck and the Haven creatures. There is also A LOT of other changes and fixes that didn't make it to the patch notes.
For instance, Kirins Hailstorm Aura was nerfed TO THE GROUND. Previously, they did both the aura and their normal attack, now its just the aura which is many times weaker than their basic attack...

For 1.3, I would like them to focus on balancing the game.

Haven
- A nerf to the Praetorians shield ability, Haven's healing and a nerf to the Glories (-1 movement speed, reduced health and attack).
Buff to the Angel's passive ability.

Inferno
- No Melee Penalty to Breeders. No Enemy Retaliation to Cerberus. More survivability for the Juggernauts.

Sanctuary
- Nerf to Kappa's damage. Nerf to Pearl Maiden's healing. Nerf to Kirin's damage but buff to Hailstorm Aura's damage.

Stronghold
- They are balanced, perhaps a slight nerf to the damage/survivability of the Cyclop.

Necropolis
- Nerf to Ghouls damage, nerf to Necromancy, nerf to Ghost's abilities, buff to Lamasu survivability, nerf to Liches and Spider's damage.

Spells
- Petrification can be dispelled (because it gets abused all the time)

Of course I have yet to test some things but I'm happy with patch 1.2. I was complaining of the ultrapowerfull tears heroes, specifically the stoneskin and ice armor spells that granted like 95% might damage reduction. But, now that some skills have been fixed, it's not so clear anymore. Life drain has been nerfed too, but blood heroes have some nice things for them (for the moment I have only experienced the might ones). I really think that they listen to us but it's just too difficult to program a game like that.  I know that,  being a programmer myself, that bugs are like "bugs", they proliferate even where we don't expect them . So for my part I'll give Ubisoft the benefit of the difficult position modern games have to deal with.

An advice that I already gave to H3 players, don't ask too much for the AI since when new technologies will come by, suddenly it will become the other way around like in chess. In chess there was a man that gave 1 million dollar to the first person that make a program that beat a grand master in a classical chess game. We now know that chess programs can beat the best players in the world and even more humans learn from AI. It's more difficult with strategy games like heroes where there are many more variables to take into account but the fact is, I'm sure, that in no long time people will ask for lower difficulties or not want to play vs AI anymore but only vs other  human players. I know already that the Ai can be programmed better than any human in H3, it's much more complicated with H6 but the time will come.... For now we can just rejoice that we can beat the AI so easily and so multiplayer is a good option but times will change .

The AI in H6 has learn some things from previous editions or maybe from players advices like the wait command with shooters or some units before a low stack but it was applied "always". So the player benefits from that by blocking the shooters since he knows they will "wait" but in no time, if we give them the possibility, this will be corrected. Just an example. I understand that they must earn money to invest in that, but if we point at the bugs without too much hate maybe we can have a game of the highest value.

The game is too easy for now, but I expect and trust that after the 2 expansions it truly has the potential to be the best (or one of the best, because feelings have also their word to say) heroes game ever.

Well, enough blah blah, let's go hunt some more bugs .

The arrow towers of the castle now seem to deal about twice as much damage as before. I was with a high level hero in the garrison, don't know if this has affected it. A welcome improvement anyway.
The Cerberi die a little slower now but as expected, not slow enough... Given the Life Drain seems to be nerfed all around, it's not easier to keep them alive than before.
