I think that is not a Bug and is more or less intended. and to some parts logical. How could a crippeld harpy return to her original position.

yep, that was the way it was in 1.1 so nothing changed, and it makes sense that they don't return as they can't do that now!

Another is: Praetorian's special attack VS hit&return enemy
a. If battlefied is like CXPXXF, where C=crossbow, P=Praetorian, F=fury, X=empty. Fury flies in between C and P, attacking C, will P react? The answer is no, as far as I know. The reason I believe is that the system thinks fury is at its starting position
b. If battlefield is CXXPF, same scenario as above, will P react?
c. If battlefield is WXPXXXXXH, where W is Wanizame and H is harpy, P is Praetorian. H attacks W, gets slowed down and does not fly back, now will P react?

Is it just me? or did they change hero's damage? it use to be attack + defense, it now seem to be attack + defense / 2
So pressed attack is weaker now.

Another bug: The auto patching does not trigger. I launched the game via the default shortcut many times, it never tried to update the game. I had to dig around and run gu.exe myself.

Strangely, it doesn't download anything when you open the ubisoft launcher. Just on the main menu you realise you have verison 1.2 It is wierd.

Hi everyone,
Joined for this, but have been lurking for some time. This forum seems really active, kudos to everyone. I've been an avid HOMM-player since II.
Anyway, after patching to 1.2 I've got my first problem with enemy turns. In Stronghold 2 (yes, after finally getting around the Close-bug with my Tears hero) the game hangs, during Red Jaguar's turn - week 2 or 3. Unable to close or return to desktop, my only option has been to reboot.
This never occurred previously, and I've had no trouble with long enemy turns and similar that people have reported. Does anyone else have this, and if so does someone know a workaround?

When Ravagers use their ability Unstoppable Charge and the path passes through a region affected by Ice Shards, they are not damaged and not even chilled.

Maybe that's because it's an "unstoppable" charge?
But yeah, I recall that it worked against them in 1.1

I launched the game, that "UPlay" thing checked for updates and found none. In game I can see I'm running version 1.1.13xxx (forgot the last three digits).
Then I ran gu.exe myself, and it updated twice - turns out I didn't even have the last patch installed. gu.exe then launched the UPlay launcher for me, and it's only then it downloaded some kind of update.
I think that UPlay launcher was merely updating itself, not the HoMM6.

Well, movement reduction is indeed debatable but I think it's pretty clear that they have to suffer damage when walking through ice shards which doesn't happen.

I'm having more crashes now with v 1.2. Specifically after a big battle, the hero tries to take back the boat he used to land in this region but it's red as if he can't board (he doesn't have enough movement points). I click on another hero to do the same and the game hangs, at least ctrl-alt-del works here but in other cases I have to reboot computer. This is new with patch 1.2 .

1 Does anyone start to see the right end of the screen flickering all the time in 1.2.0, I do not remember it happens in 1.1?
2 Dark Elements is now only 50% dark damage resist, not 100%
3 Bug: when Lich attacks with the -40% dark defense ability, the affected units will show a upward green arrow, which should be a downward red one
4 Bug: Similar as 3, units affected by Lamasu -10% max HP will show +10%

Not exactly a bug, but it's not an expected behaviour: when alt+tab-ing the music still does not stop. I don't know if they mentioned something about this "feature", but I would rather have it muted.

Not sure if I can explain this one properly: I cast the Dreamwalker's special ability on the Centaurs and when I attacked them with my Harpies, Centarus wanted to shoot Harpies midair when they entered their line of sight but as they took action, the whole stack died because of the spell. The Harpies still performed the attack on the dead Centaurs.

I don't think that's a bug. Whenever a creature acts while they have the Dreamwalker's earth spell, they'll take damage. You'll notice the same thing anytime that a creature retaliates.

At the circumradiant dawn campaign mission, after I talked to Ludmilla(after defeating the main demon town), my hero could target Ludmilla and defeat her. Is that normal?

I think attacking a dead unit is the bug here Would like to see how they did that. Also with Vigilant Scout, Centaurs are supposed to shoot enemies if they "stop" close to Centaurs, but if they can come to Centaurs with one action, they are unable to shoot, they cannot stop them. Isn't that right?

One thing with centaurs, maybe undocumented feature of vigilant scout? , is that in tactics phase by moving them you are able to see the placement of opposing troops (not the troops themselves). That lets you choose the optimal placement. Only noticed it with centaurs. It was like that in v 1.1.1 so I guess it was on purpose because there is a little animation.
