What the Pit Lords need is twice better Boundless Hate damage. Stats-wise they are fine as they are, although slightly extra Health won't hurt.

omg, Nice news! I haven't played H6 for awhile, but this patch looks very promising.
- Destructive have been nicely boosted!!!!!! PROMISING!!
- inferno and necro chages
healing got a nerf, good. But Idk about this:
- Heal and waves of renewal has been moved from the basic sisters/pearl maidens to their upgrades. The basic units have received pacification and eyes of the medusa in compensation. I think their charges have been reduced to 1.
healing only for the upgrades is a good change, but only 1 charge... looks a bit of overnerfing, but lets see.
just need some townscreens now ^^

They keep 2 charges - since it went to the upgrade, Healing/Waves/Wail has not been nerfed as far as I know.

so they are gonna double pit lords luck and give him health like 300 and boost his damage? suddenly inferno is gonna own everyone lol

The double Luck for the Inferno creatures could appear to be over the top indeed but the other stat boosts (better survivability for the Cerberi and the Lacerators for example) are pretty adequate. In the file provided by Elvin the Breeders/Mother Breeders are not improved at all so we'll see how they will finally turn out - in any case they are the second most urgent candidate for better stats after the dogs.
As for the Pit Fiends/Lords - I think their Luck should remain as it was and only get 10-20 extra Health for each version and improved Boundless Hate for the Lords. Double Luck may be a bit too much.

I suppose the difference is they can raise a KILLED stack which is something those creatures cannot.

I am glad they are reducing the healing affects.
You know H5 should have had more healing affects than H6 because you could lose sometimes whole stacks in H5 but troops are much more resiliant in H6 so don't need healing too much.
Troop loss is one of the most important things to reduce in any Heroes game, so one doesn't want to make this easier with silly healing vibes....

Overnerfing healing is the easiest way to force people to - again - resort to exploiting AI to avoid loses, and that's even worse than easy creeping for everyone. I don't think it's a valid solution to bring back HoMM V design again.

I agree, H5 design was for H5 alone.
What I mean is that troop stacks in H6 are more difficult to mow down (in H5 you can kill a whole stack in one hit) so one shouldn't hve more healing choices/abilities than H5 had....esp. troops that can heal too....
What I wish (in any Heroes game) is that there is NO healing what-so-ever, makes strategizing that much more important.
Like in chess, when you lose a pawn, you can't heal/regen it back...

I can understand the Waves of Renewal being reduced to 1 charge, as the Maidens are just great shooters in their own right. But Vestals with 1 charge... A melee support chracter with very little support possibilities But then again, they are a super no-retal unit with a stun. So maybe it works...
And has the Glories de-buffing been altered at all?

In a faction that already have a gazillion ways to restore its losses, an extra source of resurrection can't be underpowered, theoretically and practically. It's just anti-fun to watch that no matter what you do, the opponent constantly brings his troops back - especially if you can't do the same (read - Stronghold and Inferno) - until you are ultimately overwhelmed.

That sux alot dude! Try playing on hard and you wont have a chance to finish first turn. What you'll use for not loosing creatures?!Remember you can make load of strategies right now, what chess are you talking about...Im guessing you're playing only at normal or easy settings!
And btw in chess, u can change one pawn with something bigger...and even more
