Quote: the minotaur looks really out of place as a 4x4, it easily fits into a 1x1 square
Yeah, I was certain that it would be 1x1 and that Faceless would be 4x4.

They are very tanky and the artwork wasn't small either, I'm not surprised by that. Heck I like them (except the overuse of purple on the upgrade)

I wonder if Minotaurs, going with the "tradition" of 4x4 2x2 (actually that's the correct form Storm-Giant ) assault units like Jaguar Warriors and Annihilators, will get a "Charge" active ability. Maybe this one will push back smaller units a few fields, stun them or both at the same time...

Minotaurs aren't realy the "run in screaming" type anyway. They are more the wading in, swinging axes at anything that comes near, type.

So they have first counter attack ability? omg, surely they will be dangerous...sweet
As for the "4x4 minotaurs" I said before: I'm in the last week of the quarter, with lots of works delivers, test and such - sometimes I feel I may not even thinking properly

This is why I was hesitant to accept Black Dragons in the lineup:
Look how tiny they have to be to fit in a 2x2 square! His body is smaller than the Crusader's horse. It looks a little ridiculous imo.

That has to be one sturdy bridge if it can support the total weight of 400+ creatures like that

It appears Faceless are units.
And I had clung on to the slimmest of hopes that they wouldn't be. Oh well. The game models surprised me two fold; the beholders, in my eyes (get it? ha ha) look terrible in game, while the manticores surprised me, looking quite cool.

very impressive! Just pre-ordered from Uplay, seems you get one extra dynasty weapon compared to steam.. question is, will I be able to merge it with my steam version?

That racial guage is interesting turning into two heads on level II.
So level III is three heads and level IV a little more? What could this racial be? We have suggestions of:
- Invisibility (most likely)
- Shadow cloning
- Debuff enemy

I think its shadow cloning! Second question is, how does the racial gauge gets filled up? Any ideas?

So level I - troop gets cloned
Level II - troop gets two clones or two troops get cloned?
Racial has something to do with the shadows, so maybe less or no movement from troops during their turn increases the guage slightly.....

Hmmm...it's just strange that racial guage shows two heads on Level II....implying more towards double (deck) than from core to elite....

I can only think of one HoMM game (H4) with bridges (that didn't have trolls underneath) and that was on the adventurer map.
Now, naval combat on the other hand...

So true. The crusader has always been too big when compared to any "big & brutal" monsters. Pitlords, kirins, jaguar/panther, lamasu...
It also feels wrong that manticore is slightly smaller than lamasu except for the tail.

If you look closely on the initiative bar there are some nice units like upgraded Faceless if I'm right...
And lurkers actually do have an eyeball
Also, the Dungeon town look nice on AM.
And no comment on the snow landscape that they also introduce . Actually, I think it looks quite good!
