But before diving in, I have a few questions:
1. Can I make a female human skilled in stealth assassination?
2. So from what planet should I originate from? And what planet should I be now?
3. Am I also required to own starships and hover cars?
4. How about the technology? What is the most powerful technology in the current time? Like for example, would laser guns pierce into a heavy plated armor? Or can normal bullets do the same?
5. About psychics, so they can manipulate one's mind easily. Is there anyway to counter them?
6. How should I meet the rebels? Or I should be a rebel by now?

the most powerfull laser based weapons are mounted only on starships, which can penetrate most metals if they're not shielded. hand held versions are not as powerfull.

most mind manipulation is in the form similiar to a jedi mind trick. it's hard to resist to, but possible with enough effort put into it. this discipline is arguably the most hard to master.

True, that is something Bernys RPG's tend to suffer from, as fun as they can be. We tend to hit a dead end and muck about there a bit before he would take action. Which rarely helped. That and eventually some contrived romance would pop up.

We did take loads of control though, each of us powerplayed quite a bit .. you taking control of almost the entire city with your robotarmy, Kip for some reason finding and controlling an entire new alien-like race ... and me becomming pretty much immortal.

I was in a hurry last time so I wasn't able to ask everything. I hope you wont mind answering the few questions left. Also I have follow up questions too.
7. If I understood it correctly, the Empire resides on planet Earth. Can normal humans and other races live there too? Or its solely for the Empire only?
8. How would I be able to meet with the group? Should I make a way to meet them? Or just do the daily stuff my char should be doing and leave everything to you?
9. About the mode of transportation. I assume to go from planet to planet starships are used? So there are public starships like taxi cabs probably?

1. How many planets are now discovered? How many are inhabited and how many are not?
2. Can I have a list of names of the planets?
I'm really sorry if I have many questions. This is my first Sci-Fi RP and everything seems new to me. So please bear with me.

Earth is the capital planet. any race belonging to the empire can live there, however the Capitol city is only reserved for Humans and Malari only, as it's the seat of the empress, her council and the senate, not to mention other vital institutions. The empire spans about two thirds of the Galaxy. the Akhari home system is in the south-western fringe of the galaxy, while the Borrelian Commonwealth borders the Empire to the west.

there are companies in the frames of current day airlines, which offer interplanetary transportation. alternatively you may hire a smuggler or a privateer to take you there you need.

a few hundred thousand. however over half of them are gas giants or unhospitable rocks which are not worth terraforming. there are also gas mining facilities in most of the gas giants, while most of the penal labor colonies are located on their mineral rich satelite planets.

only for the most vital ones. we can make up planet names as we go.
Earth/Terra: The capital of the Terran Empire.
Soveris: Malari homeworld. in most cases similiar to Earth
Sakhuri: Evolon homeworld. 95% of the surface is oceans. the landmasses are only island archipelagos. the people there live in floating or underwater cities. very humid, and monsoons rage for about 3/4 of the planet's year.
Thokkia: Thoran homeworld. prior to it's destruction it was a lush jungle planet. nowadays it is an inhospitable radioactive wasteland, just freed from the clutches of a nuclear winter.
Nakere: Kharon homeworld. A harsh planet with an amonia and oxygen based athmosphere. non kharon are required breathing suits here.
Pharen: Akhari homeworld. A planet of fertile plains and marshes. it has two moons, Aros and Krena, which are armed with planetary defences, just in case the empire, or any other hostile force manages to succesfully navigate through the asteroid fields surrounding the system
Averia: Borrelian homeworld. It is quite similiar to Earth in most cases, but without such a biological diversity.
Lyra Secundus: a generic city planet, Dorian's place of birth
Migla: A mostly barren planet, with fertile steppes in it's northern hemispehre. the planet where most outlaws and other scum gather.
Grendelis cluster: not exactly a planet, but a collection of star systems. the planets there are dotted with ruins, and have legions of Grendels sleeping in stasis beneath their surface.
habitable planets are organised into these categories:
City planet: One of the most common planet types. the surface is one huge city, ala Coruscant.
Agrarian planet: these world s produce food and clothing for the citizens of the empire.
Industrial world: as the name suggests it's home to numerous factories and plants.
Death world: mostly feral planets with nothing but a few research facilities. houses some of the most dangerous plant and animal life.
Preserve planet: these world's have minimal touch of civilization. these are mostly resorts to the rich, who want to escape the civilization, and rest surrounded by the natural beauty of these worlds
Penal world: mostly moons of gas giants, these worlds house criminals, from lowly thugs to dissidents.
Dead world: a once habitable planet which has been destroyed by war, natural or other causes.
Quarantine world: a planet which has been placed under quarantine by imperial forces. for whatever reason.
Noble world: a world which has the appearance of pre industrial revolution Earth. little cities and manors of the empire's high class dot their surfaces.
