Funny stuff, I myself can name an example of a girl who stays with her boyfriend even though he beats her like a punchbag. Even claims to love him. Not to mention how often girls and even grown up women get attracted by men with apparently violent characters.

Some people are trapped in abusive relationships and mistakenly believe that their partner will change. Some don't even believe they're in abusive relationships because they believe their partner's lies and think that being treated like that is normal, or that they deserve it.
It's not because women are crazy or any sexist nonsense like that.

As a matter of fact, the motive behind the post wasn't exactly what she was saying but who was saying it and how it was said but I completly forgot the languague problem - it's impossible to get how articulate the woman is without any french knowledge, sorry.
