Seems like they overvalue the audience's fondness of Jon Snow.

Idk, I think the show is starting to reach its conclusion, and it's been a bumpy ride, but let's not forget that it was rigged from the start. I mean J.R.R. Martin consenting to the T.V series was based on David Benioff's correct answer to the question 'who is Jon Snow's mother?'. He was the main character from the start.

There is rumored to be only 13 episodes left, but slightly longer episodes.
I don't get what you mean by it being "rigged". So he had a grand plan for 7 books from the start, like it is a bad thing?

bingewatched the whole season today.
Decent.
Ramsay getting eaten by his dogs was a good scene. Best death for the best troll ever.
Surprised there was no significant butthurt SJW outburst over some things in this season, like a woman getting eaten alive by dogs along with her newborn. Oh wait. They hate kids.
Also, human meat pies. Arya went full brutal.

As in no matter who is popular and who isn't the outcome is already decided, so stuff like Jon's resurrection has very little to do with his popularity for instance.

I think they said 13 hours left for 2 smaller seasons and not 13 episodes.

I think Arya will take the book role, for some deaths, from Lady Stoneheart, given the latter is likely not to appear in the series.

yeah, i love how her character has developed. but then you could see it coming in her training. what i want to know is, where she got the face from. is she just killing whoever now to get to her targets?
but it's cool. she's like an ace up the good guy's' sleeves.

So, now that the show is nearing its conclusion, dare we make any predictions on what happens to the remaining cast?
I haven't read the books, though, so I am just using my imagination .
Cersei: becomes pretty much the Nero of Westeros, a tyrant who rules with an iron fist. Surrounded by enemies, her actions become more and more desperate. Eventually, slipping off into madness, she is killed by ...
Ser Jamie: having lost just about everything, he falls into a brooding state. Eventually, he steps up and kills Cersei. He eventually dies himself while trying to rescue Brienne in the final battle against the White Walkers and their Undead. Plottwist:
Brienne: has a minor role until the end, but her hold on a sword of Valerian Steel means she's one of the people able to stand up against the White Walkers. Is forced to kill the zombie form of Ser Jamie.
Little Finger: manages to plot and twist in an attempt to claim the throne for himself but eventually runs into a dead end. Dies to the Desert Snakes from Dorne.
Varys: survives till the end and becomes Danaerys' personal advisor.
Jon Snow: learns he is first a Targaeryan in blood, before being a Stark. Is one of the characters to stand physically against the White Walkers. Is named Warden of the North by Danaerys and has the support of just about all the major houses up there.
Bran: is key essential to the defeat of the Winter King. With his ability to lure the Winter King, he can bring him into a position where he can get killed. Doesn't survive in a human form, but warps into one of the Dragons.
Arya: after finishing her killing streak, she is the one to kill the Winter King. May or may not survive this ordeal.
Sansa: turns out to be pregnant from Ramsay, giving birth to a baby boy. By name, she therefore inherits stewardship over what remains of House Bolton. Marries Tyrion, uniting House Bolton, House Lannister and House Stark under a single banner.
Tyrion: supports Danaerys in her claim to the throne and marries Sansa in the end, being the one to carry on the Lannister family name.
Danaerys: through a lot of strife and conflict, manages to claim the Iron Throne for herself. Forms a strong bond with the North through Jon Targaeryan. Is essential in defeating the bulk of the White Walker armies. Marries Ser Mormont.
Ser Mormont: finds a cure within the ruins of Valeria, where he also discovers some long forgotten secrets about Dragon Fire and the likes, essential information to defeat the White Walkers. In the end, marries Danaerys.
Yara & Theon Greyjoy: reclaim rule over the Iron Islands, supporting Danaerys in her claim to the throne of the Seven Kingdoms.
I guess I will leave it at that ... there's too many characters .

I find it a bit hard to predict when we have read books and watched the shows, specially due some differences.
But regarding the shows, you are probably right about Cercei being killed by the younger brother - might be Tyrion as well, but I think the dwarf won't be killing any more of his kin. Jaime will most likely kill himself along with Cercei to protect someone else – he'll die given that he promised Cercei they would never be apart.
Sansa will kill Middlefinger somehow.

Thought of something else: The Mountain vs. the Hound. No doubt they'll get face to face somehow. I'd say the Hound will kill the Mountain in that confrontation. Not sure if the Hound will live beyond the series' end, though.

Arya will marry the Dog. Better, she'll kill him mercifully after he vanquishes his brother. Given that Arya has listed them both, it'll be her act of pardoning the Dog at last.
For TV, it will be mystical having that confrontation. In the books, the Dog hasn't resurfaced afaik, only someone who stole his helmet and is wreaking havoc in his instead.

Lol That name fits him better
What I really want to see is Sam give his Bad*** sword Hearts-bane to Bronn, who is my favorite charcter, so he can help out in the final white walker battle. I honestly was expecting Bronn to die in season 6 simply because if he did die, nothing would really be effected. I almost would have rather him go out in a cool way than have basically no screen time in season 6...
Also a big fan of the Hound so perhaps it will go to him. I just know Sam will not be using the sword and its too valuable not to be used!
I also wonder if Brienne and the Hound will ever met again?

In the books, I don't recall the whereabouts of Bronn. I think he earned his lands and knight-title and vanished from sight after saying his farewells to the dwarf.
On TV, well I reckon he'll end up defending the dwarf from a threat, ironically similar to when they met each other, even if the dwarf is on the opposite site of the table. Bronn is such a nice fellow.

Yes, in the books he disappears after getting his lands and does little more than beat up a few of Cersei's cronies.
