Well, they aren't that "bad", but they have quite a big drawback, all of them except Lashing Lilim, and I don't understand the reason for such big drawbacks, when the drawback is bigger than the utility of the unit itself.
Hikyu is pretty decent, except from the art, I like him. I mean, even art isn't that bad, but it could've been so so much better.
But when you compare new Inferno creatures to new Necro creatures, Inferno creatures are perfection!

I think the Inferno FW cards really are just bad, lol. Hikyu is worth using but I cannot think of any other Inferno cards that I put in any of my Inferno decks.

In general i'd agree but we have an OTK/combo-infested meta and Adar Malik and Sandal aren't that strong vs them (eg. Cassa is better than Sandal vs Ammar imo, is much faster, has mass dispel and prison. However in Cassa vs Sandal i believe that Sandal has an edge).

Sounds like a very nice day. I finished my 25 swisses achievement a few days ago. I think this is one of the achievements that should take priority. Even though it's lvl 4 achievement it is relatively easy (but requires commitment, meaning time) and swisses are worth playing anyway.

I guess you are right about achievements. It's just some of them doesn't make you learn how to play better - they just force you to create bonkers deck and wish for luck which is totally ok for many. Maybe i'm left with some kinda SC2 mentality that in every game looks for a semi e-sport environment, meaning: get the best deck asap and play tournaments at the highest lvl you can manage.

I have only 50, but i don't really play for achievement. As i said before, i' ve played only one hero so far. And i'm missing almost all of the cards achievement i just don't have that many cards.
@Elvin
how is Sandal vs current meta?? Ammars, Dhamiria? Nergal slowpoke and slowpokes in general? I'm thinking about switching to Sandal but i'm missing quite a few cards (e.g. only 1 week of taxes - i think i've had to sell some in the pit, not to mentioned all the epics).

I haven't met many Ammars to be honest, playing at a slow pace But I see a trend of noob players abusing him in the hope of pwning everything in their path while they are actually not that hard to counter. Reminds me when everyone started playing Dhamiria(due to her pit offer) with the vast majority not knowing how to play her effectively. Seeing noob Dhamirias all over the place made me all warm and fuzzy inside ^^ Dhamiria and Nergal really depends on the opponent though I find them pretty fair matchups in general. I'd even go as far to say that I have an advantage over Dhamiria but I have not faced any Nergals post lock nerf. If you can bide your time and not flaunt your strength of the sea for him to dispel early, you should have decent odds to take him down. And even better if you run 2 rise of the nethermancer to reduce his recycling.
Overall I don't have any specific weaknesses, the deck fares fine vs anything. Academy turtling can be tough to break though though, they sometimes fortify themselves very nicely. Makes me miss my wombo days

Dear Champions, We will be hosting a 1 hour maintenance today (October 11th 2013) in order to fix an exploit discovered in the game.
Hmmm, wonder what that exploit could be....it's not Ammar, although Aza did mention Ammar is unbalanced!

Ammar is like Adar or Dhamiria.. He is a user friendly noob hero. He is not strong if you know how to counter him. A genetic OTK like Shaar. Break his combo once and he is done.

Sorry guys, I have to admit they have decide to nerf me as I have been exploiting all lower meta. I didn't want to bring this shame to our hcomm but temptation was too strong. From this point on I will insta quit against any lower elo

Funny thing, I was playing Adar-Malik in a swiss few days ago. Got in Swiss with Sousuma(or something like that, an Ammar player) that I've lost to the Swiss before that. I already saw him in the finals against me, since I was 2-0, and he was fighting some Necro player, and was 1-0 already.
Then, suddenly, a Necro player is coming into the finals, a Nergal slowpoke. Swiss chat opens up, and all I see Sousuma crying and flaming Nergal for being so lucky and so "bad" to have 4 dispels in his deck. I laughed my ass off, the sweet tears of Ammar player.
Funny thing, Adar-Malik doesn't have almost any chance against Slowpokes and OTKs, but this guy had a terrible hand it seems, and I had 2 Soul-Consuming Liches(the doom for almost every slowpoke player, they can't wipe them with the Insect Swarm + Crystal of Power combo and a full board. ^^), and in the end it was like walking in the park, he never got the cards that he wanted it seems.

Still, I think it's not cool for one to have to wait so long in a turn while Ammar "does his thing" and draws endless cards...
Speaking of which, playing in a duel against Academy does take time...

Just faced two Ammars with my Yukiko.. Score 1:1
The first Ammar had it easy, a fast creature start that I could not counter.
The second game was almost 30min long!!! He just didn't wanto to give up. But once I got 2 Mizus and SotS on the board, and enought control to kill anything he played, he was done.
He had a a nice twist in his deck, A Helaxian library, and he cold even win with it, but did not use it well.

96 cards...damn that's alot...I think most people are still using the 59 card build and have not bloated decks too much.
