Oh actually I misspoke, I did have 2 Moltens originally, and iirc the other one was golden, but when the nerf hit I dusted them both as I always do. I have been trying Moltens now in a Quest Mage deck but meh I suck at playing this kind of combo decks No wins at all. (It doesn't help that seeing tons of Hunters with Flare... )

Yeah same here. I tend to use my resources incorrectly (read: stall intelligently enough to survive), or fail to set-up the combo (unlucky card draw).
Even though it's regarded as "cancer" I tried Molten G in Naga Sea Witch Giant deck and it actually works decently there. Will be even stronger after the "re-buff".
EDIT: OK so the expansion lunches today at 10 AM PDT (1 PM EDT, 7 PM CEST, 1 AM CST). Haypu anyone?
Probably gonna have to wait a few hours though... server downtimes + duplicate pack bugs and that sorta things.

I am super exited!
Gonna be trying decks that I get most cards for as always! Hoping for Hand Druid cards, I really like that idea more and more. However I don't want Duskfallen Aviana in a deck lol, it reminds me of Temporus. That card killed me just so many times while my opponent spammed "Thank you". Temporus isn't all bad though but the losses hurt
And I am not a Shaman player but god darned my first craft is so gonna be Hagatha the Witch. But then again I keep changing the cards and decks I wanna play the most daily. XD

If Shaman gets popular, he might be a natural counter for Cubelock, cause Hex (Devolve in Wild, where Cubelock also seems to be a problem).
I especially want to try out Dragon Hunter, "enhanced" Elemental decks, multi-tribe decks (if I don't get Amalgam I might wanna craft it) and maybe even Odd&Even decks depending on the cards I get.
I'm feeling there's so much to try out that whatever I get, fun times are ahead of me (until Cubelock/Aggro Dude Paladin make me miserable).
I'm especially hyped for Nightmare Amalgam. I like to mix things up, but these types of decks are inconsistent by definition. But this here chimera works as an activator for everything in your deck and is a decent play on turn 3 by it's own. So what if it's prone to techy cards? Who will run Golkakka Crawler in a non-Pirate meta?
It's such a versatile minion that I wonder what took Team 5 so long to figure out such a card, it should be in Classic already...

Ok, if the servers do not melt tonight I think I will try:
- jade shudderwock shaman in wild;
- hagatha shudderwock control shaman in standard;
- kill yourself aviana big druid in standard;
- wisp/treant druid in wild;
- dragon/beast hunter in standard;
- kathrena hunter in standard;
- spiteful lady in white priest;
- check out if a tempo secret mage is still viable, also the same for zoo in standard.
Since I cannot get all the cards right away I think odd/even cards are dust as far as I'm concerned.

Oh Warlock Zoo will be even stronger. Curse of Weakness will be so OP... or are you talking about Zoo Mage by chance?

Well you need only to get Baku or Genn for starters. It's like Reno decks, rest is just built around the concept.
PS: Heads up. If someone is interested in Monster Hunt, supposedly it comes out 2 weeks or so later. Probably a good thing as Team 5 was surprised last time in how Dungeon Run's popularity clogged the servers at that time.

I meant zoo warlock, and pretty sure I will dust genn and baku if I get them, since even if some of those decks could be strong, I'm not into that playstyle.

One of my most important rules: never dust a Legendary. Remember how I bashed Yogg a while ago? Or Keleseth?
I use Captain Greenskin in a few of my decks also (got him a second time from a pack after initially dusting the first copy).
You won't be 100% sure if you dislike a card (or a deck) before you play it...

I was thinking about the same thing about Shaman. However the annoying Cubelock will pull a Doomguard with his weapon, and on the same turn Cube + Sacrifice it for 15 damage. And yeah you can't Hex enough targets anymore.
Dangit I just got salty Back to being excited! Shaman is getting some STRONG cards of it's own now, so maybe it can counter Warlock indeed!
Edit: Did any of you preorder? How much gold do you guys have gathered, I have 2500 so only 25 packs! Yet I do have plenty of dust saved up ^^

I've opened 45 packs (gold + 7 free ones).
Got Chameleos as a freebie. Glinda Crowskin, Toki and Countess Ashmore in packs. So the Legendary count is very good, and I'm happy with Ashmore and Chameleos (which might be good). When it comes to Epics I'm glad cause I've got Nightmare Amalgam, Voodoo Doll and Ratcatcher.
Proceeding to craft Emeriss. Oh hell, even if he turns out unplayable he's a Dragon still

Shudderwock is AMAZING!!! Seriously! It's so much fun!
I got him as my free class-legendary and am experimenting with him currently on an elemental-shaman deck. Tol'Vir Stoneshaper, fire plume harbinger and Servant of Kalimos can generate an awesome amount of value through him. Then I added a Primordial Drake for extra waveclear.
But the really awesome part is adding Saronite Chain Gang, Murmuring Elemental and Youthful Brewmaster (I do not have Grumble) for infinite value.
Playing this deck just feels really amazing when that Shudderwock machine starts rolling.

Dragon Hunter is pretty interesting. I made a homebrew deck, and so far it's decent but there's a lot of tweaking before me. Going for a Beast/Dragon hybrid deck. It's worth running King Krush and Emriss just for the 16/16 combo
Also crafted Shudderwock cause why the f* not?

From my observations so far Shudderwock definitly pays off. If he is charged enough he can basicly turn around the game 180°. He is a bit like Yogg that way, only that you can control him better and can pretty easily get a copy of him to your hand. He just needs a longer time to really power up.
Just... be careful with Fire Elementals. I was just nearly killed by my own Shudderwock.
EDIT: This time around I also got quite a lot of dust in the bank. I was thinking of crafting Hagatha. But, I think that she might be a bit anti-synergistic with Shudderwock as he can actually already pretty well fill your hand. And alwys just swimming in cards does not really help.

One day after release and people are already hatin' Shudderwock There is a popular Savjz's OTK deck with Lifedrainer (btw this card is very good). Mostly hated because the OTK animation takes 10 minutes. Nerf incoming.
How was your pack opening guys? I've seen some lucky streaks yesterday...

Ok so I got Splitergraft, Blackhowl Gunspire and Glinda Crowskin. Decent for 32 packs. I got 8 Epics but, 2 of them were Totem Crunchers and 3 Bogshapers Oh god.
Haven't tried the Gunspire yet!

Dragon/Beast Hunter
Candleshot × 2
Hunter's Mark × 2
Explosive Trap × 1
Vicious Scalehide × 2
Animal Companion × 2
Marsh Drake × 1
Nightmare Amalgam × 1
Tar Creeper × 1
Unleash the Hounds × 1
Dire Frenzy × 2
Flanking Strike × 1
Scaleworm × 1
Twilight Drake × 1
Wing Blast × 1
Witchwood Piper × 2
Carrion Drake × 1
Cobalt Scalebane × 1
Bone Drake × 1
Deathstalker Rexxar × 1
Countess Ashmore × 1
Wyrmguard × 1
King Krush × 1
Ysera × 1
Emeriss × 1
Point of the deck is to draw out Vicious Scalehide and boost it with Dire Frenzy. After that there is a "draw engine" to pick it out of the deck and survive long enough for a combo wombo with Emriss and Krush (or some Zombeast thingy). Rest of the deck is basically stalling and some Beast/Dragon synergy.
Thoughts?

1st day thoughts:
- shudderwock combo looks op, but if people keep on playing that deck, aggro decks will emerge and crush it to bits, and after that cubelock and control lock will rise to crush the aggro;
- hagatha seems powerful but I couldn't find any "real" deck built around her;
- big druid with aviana is good now because people play shudderwock combo and have no real cards to be played for 0 mana, but pretty soon that will change;
- hand druid is kinda meh, funny enough the mountain giants seem to be the weak link of the deck for now;
- secret mage with some replacements for the kabal package is pretty good imo;
- was surprised to see that odd paladin looked really strong when I played against it;
- went up against some midrange paladins with valanyr who seemed pretty strong;
- also tempo rogue in both variants ( with or without keleseth) seems to be in a good spot;
- rush warrior seems weak.
