Shaw isn't seeing much play now because the deck he fits in is midrange hunter, and that is not very powerful right now, but i am willing to bet that when midrange hunter is back ( and in a form or another he tends to come back) Shaw will be played there , just like savannah highmane will. You do not see highmanes now but that doesn't mean the card isn't strong.
That doesn't mean u should craft him, just saying he is a solid card.
Edit: Shudderwock in a murloc quest shaman can potentially replay the buffs from 2 gentle megasaurs if u have a murloc board, the buffs from coldlight seer, the buffs from rockpool hunter and fill your hand with murlocs.

Stevie said: Ben Brode leaving Blizzard today, Twitter.
It's weird, but I actually got a little sad. Weird.. I do not know the man. I just like his passion.
Wauw.. Well he was a big part of HS and blizz, he meant something for the game.
I wonder who takes over. It is some tough stuff to come after.

I do not get his line of thinking, he was the face that sold the game, in his time at blizzard he went from late night tester guy to game director of one of the most successful games ever. In another decade he would of gone all the way to the top to seat next to Mike Morhaime, and now he throws all that away to start his indie company? History shows that all the talented people who left blizzard to start their own thing didn't end up being successful or earning more that they did at blizzard, but anyway to each his own I guess.
Looks like that Woo guy might take over the job I guess.

Yeah, that's sad. The game will never be the same again without him. Those that are left are either creepy or absolutely don't have charisma.
Well, nowadays people want to try their own ideas/companies. Making games is a lucrative business and some people simply have ideas of their own which they are trying to visualize.
I don't think we'll see the last of him in Blizzard though...

Thank you! I too agree that those left lack charisma, which Ben Brode was all about.

If any of you have some fun decks, I can try I would love to see them.
I am looking for those not ladder decks that are just fun to play.

Cards that "cheat out" big minions are always nasty. Usually it's too big of a tempo swing to handle, there are only a few ways to deal with a turn four Barnes into Y'Shaarj into Y'Shaarj.
Lately I've been thinking there are too many cards that "insta-win" you a game. RNG is one thing, but it's sad to loose a game because of one card. Part of the games look like those weren't about skill, but only about who rolls the the dice with more luck. Oh well... that's how this game will always be, but I still think they need to look into some things.
PS: Another guy leaves Hearthstone team, this time less known (Hamilton Chu), but maybe something is amiss? He's was also a part of Blizzard structures like Brode, so maybe something with the companies internal policies?
PS 2: I've watched the video about Monster Hunt. It looks like they've put even more work into this mode in comparison to Dungeon Run: unique abilities and spells (Crowley's cannons for instance), Nemesis-es, dialouge lines etc. Can't wait!

I do not think there is anything amiss. Take a guy like Ben Brode. He has been there for 10 years. That is a reasonable time. I understand he wants to try something new.
The other guy I do not much about but maybe it is the same.
It will always be different working for a smaller company. I sure do like it more myself.

Blizzard outdid themselves with the improved Daily Quests. It's so much less irritating to complete them...
Taunt Druid is great, probably my favorite "win" deck atm. It can loose to Aggro Pally with bad draw, but most of the time my opponents concede when they see a 5th Hadronox on board The only downside is that some matches take ages to finnish...

Ah, ok. Maybe I'll try it, but rather not my type of deck...
Got Blackhowl Gunspire in a pack... sigh. Don't have any idea what to do with it. For now I've put it into my Recruit Warrior: aside from the obvious "cheating out" options (as playing this from hand seems pointless), I also run a few self damage spells in it...
EDIT: Baku cube Hunter is not for me. Tried it, but in order to get the combo rolling you need to survive until turn 10, which is very hard to do with this deck...
An unsurprisingly, Gunspire is weak as ****. I don't even want to try to think of any deck in which it will work, maybe some other players will have more luck.

Yeah it is a meme card if you play with Sudden Genesis in a recruit deck. It was one of the first Legendaries I got from the set and nope, have not tried it since the beginning.

Monster Hunt is fun. Seems a bit easier then Dungeon Run, cause Hero powers are OP, and there's more synergy with treasures you get between bosses, when added to your deck.
I finished a run with Tess already. It's good to invest in Jades, especially Jade Shuriken: her Hero Power enables you to "recycle" the spell continiously. A good option is her unique discover weapon treasure. There's one with Windfury. If you manage to get Deadly Poison you can "recycle" it to make a super powerful Weapon. It's relatively easy to get the double hero power...
EDIT: Thanks Blizzard! Getting a Splintergraft in a pack from Monster Hunt right after Blackhowl Gunspire makes one happy

Well yeah I got the maximum wins with Tess immediately on the first try. Others however... feel a lot harder. Died on the third boss on one try. And still struggling

Oh yes, Canoneer is hard to play as his deck is inconsistent. Probably need to get the treasures that build upon his cannons for a strong snowball effect.
I really hate Team 5 ideas for building AI decks with strong AoE spells. I mean, most of the time you're deck is really thin on resources, so sometimes one AoE spell is enough to simply defeat you. This is a really cheap way of raising the difficulty
BTW I find the Monster Hunt heroes emotes really cool and adequate. So much better then the vanilla class ones in some cases...
