Hello Mr. rdeford. On your tag line is that supposed to be Sequim or Soquim. :-) In any event...I'll have to give that a try as well. I've had HotA for a couple of months now, never had any crashes worth noting. Been trying like crazy to find any worth reporting. When I do find a "mini crash" I restart where I left off, do it again, and the crash sequence is gone, even after repeating what I did to get the crash in the first place.
Well, I hope those problems don't deter you from continuing to play Abyss. It's more stable than a lot of other add ons I've experimented with for just about any game out there anyway. The team seems to continue improving on what they've done so far.
Now...Watch out for those Gooeyducs!

It is not a graphical imperfection, so I post it here:
Fire Shield + Bad Luck results in 40% damage reflect instead of 20% (Efreet Sultan has innate basic Fire Shield).

Hi, I'm a newbie on this forum. I have the latest version of HotA. I'm the red player and I've eliminated the blue player. All the other 6 AI players still stand. Got a bug in the den of thieves field "Kingdom Army Strength" calculation (see the image below), where it still shows the blue player but don't show the pink player anywhere. Even after several in-game days, the bug still persists.

Also, got twice a crash related to combining artifacts when two heroes encounters and at least one of them have a full backpack. Combining artifacts in the full backpack should free up some spaces there, allowing me to be able to still add another few artifacts to the now almost-full backpack. However, sometimes the game does not acknowledge that some spaces were freed up by the combination and the game still says that the backpack is full. When this happens, after leaving the screen, the game crashes.
However, I still didn't found a clear way to reliable and deterministically reproduce this bug. Most of the times, it just works out nicely.
I have the latest version of HotA installed.

No. HotA doesn't work properly in Program Files folder; there were many bug reports caused by this problem; so finally this way of installation was resticted.
Okay, so where do I install the game to get HotA working?

For Zeus, this is my map! Yesterday someone asked me if it was still played and I didn't knew what to say... Thanks man! You certainly made my day.
About your problem, what happens is that some colors, namely Pink, Tan and then you, get so much army power it goes negative, so defeated players (that have 0 army power) are randomly showed instead of your colors. I've made a thread here about negative heroes (you will get some...) years ago, it explains it all.
Returning to reality, the HotA artifact doesn't work on elementals, undead and golems but I think I got one from destroying the ballista. I saved a pic, can mail it if you want.

Fangarms can Hypnotize Gold Golems (if with Orb of Vulnerability but I think mechanical can't be hypnotized anyway).

1 Damage - All creatures
Hello,
This issue is probably pretty low on the totem pole for importance, but; I have installed Windows 10 ARM edition on my Raspberry Pi, Heroes 3 complete (from GoG) and HD Mod + HotA. When I play HotA, all creature stacks, no matter their type or size, always do just 1 damage. Spells still do full damage - tested Solmyr and Ciele. I assumed it was probably just a 32bit emulation error, however when I launched original version in HD+, the damage calculations did work correctly, leading me to believe it is a HotA issue.
For anyone who's wondering.. the project is literally just to have a dedicated heroes 3 computer made of recycled parts

I'm not sure if this is a bug or a new feature but at the moment plague months affect all creatures even if you have built the horde building, when it wasn't supposed to.

Something that's been a problem for a while, on my 1920 x 1080 resolution screen the in-game screen (not the main menu though) is shifted to the left by about 1 cm, and down by about 3 mm, so I'm losing about 1cm off the left side of the screen and 3mm off the bottom.

It seems like I am not able to switch my faerie dragons to melee. At least in this fight it wasn't possible to not cast frost ring on the stone golems.

New Version Crash (HotA 1.6.0)
Hey all,
Earlier I updated to the new version and played for a while (maybe 10 minutes), and suddenly the game crashed with a report window (which didn't worked and I wasn't been able to report the crash).
Not sure if it's related, but the crash occurred while transferring artifacts from one hero to another.

That happened to me too. Bu tnot only when playing. The crash has happened even hen trying to start a game. Need help plz.

apparently fixed with the last-last version of HD_Launcher, just a console window popup when choosing a map/savegame, do not close it.

I have really bad crashing issues since the new update, on the map When Seas Were Deeper I would frequently get EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION crashes when buying a boat, these could be bypassed by moving differently etc. though.
Even worse however is that the game would eventually crash on AI turn and leave a corrupt autosave that crashes the game upon loading at half full loading bar, had this happen in two games on that map now.

I tried different szenarios with the new version 1.6. It oftenly crashes, at different times (while the KI is acting; also when I watch or go to a point on the map where gargoyles stand protecting a townportal).
