well yes they are well liked because they are rare, powerful creatures with a legacy, dragons are the great archetypal monster of myth, I think most people who play fantasy games like dragons and want to slay them or recruit them (even if Erwin is on a crusade to make us all completely sick of them) lol
Nah they aren't really powerful. After all even bone dragons were stronger in h6! As a matter of fact it's really on same level in rarity and power as rest of the champions... Rather I actually considered it among weakest champions overall(though dungeon as whole was among the strongest).
I do like your sentiment though, it would be cool if devs made blackies like in the older games to have less growth and higher power/price. Unfortunately devs seems to consider h6 as the only true game of the series and base most of things on it so I don't see that happening

yeah I was referring to the original Heroes games there, black dragon is the strongest creature of Heroes 2 bar none, I actually don't like azure dragons or megadragons etc much because they cheapen that lol

seriously though, completely agree. Blackies used to be THE dragon. Now they're just THAT dragon
don't mind the azure/mega dragons though. The rarity and power of them made the interactions more like "wow, they dwarf even the blackies" which is alright by me.

Either i was being dumb on the beta, or the guardian/justicar was only proccing half the time.
Oh you forgot that the lammassu got a 51.06% of "shouldn't be on necropolis" ;P

I'm disappointed as well. Guardians are well designed. They fit in the faction. Angels and abbots are the weakest link both design-wise and ability-wise in Haven IMO.

I don't thik so, because people probably think that justicar took place of griffin and that's why they voted, which creatures you don't like in haven also I don't think so because people like the design of justicar, only 13% of people voted that it should be redesigned and 28% wants celestial redesigned, so i don't think it's about justicar being woman, so you can calm down

It's among my favourite units as well. It's not perfect, but it looks far more realistic and better than most units with their ridiculous totally over the top designs. Only quarrel I have with it is that it doesn't really feel like elite unit with its appearance. If the "modding" is easy enough to do I will replace wolf(which goes to sylvan with smaller size!) with her and bring griffin back(and make 7-tier system). A bit of same problem I got with landsknecht, while it looks like champion I don't really like the idea of human being in champion tier, especially with just brute force, but that's just me. Been considering making landsknecht smaller lowering the tier and making larger griffin(King of Griffins or something like that) as alternative champion with smaller growth and higher stats being more offensive than angel. Really comes down to how much editing is truly possible to do and how hard it is to do that.
Another thing I wonder is; is it possible to change towns building-tree? Is it possible to have alternative elite for example? and are there always same pre-requisite slots?

Why would anyone think that though? Justicar has been in every single game aside from H6, just under different name. Besides, it's fairly obvious that it's the wolf that replaced the Griffin (A unit i don't mind seeing in another faction for the record).
If I don't really see what amount people who wants it and the celestial redesigned has to do with it. It's the people who wants it gone that irks me to no end. The other one they want gone i can understand as it's a wolf and not exactly classical Haven material, but The Justicar is about as classical as you can get. It's been around since the start.
No, the reason is pretty obvious from where i stand and it pisses me off.
Angel should totally be a lady too but i guess that could be what the rework votes are calling for...

In that case I think that covering the face of Angel Celestial is the best option possible. In Ashan they are both male and female and such look allows the player to choose who they want their Angel Celestial to be.

I agree that it was wolf that took griffins place clearly. They even have same abilities basically(unlimited retalation and another one is a charging move that was simply altered to fit ground unit better).
Also I think angel is very fit unit to be female. I never liked the h3 and h4 versions. I also disliked the h5 basic version though which you could consider either neutral or female(while upgrades are my favourites). H6 was badly over-designed. H7 is better, but I still dislike the whole half knight half angel thing(just makes it feel less of a magical and mythical creature + it looks more like haunted armor that has wings to me since its legs are amputated in order to support the weight of that armor!)

You didn't like the h3 archangel  I liked those the best, a fully armored angel looks kinda silly to me. But still, the armor looks really cool so I don't mind it. I'd rather the sword master wear the Angels armor so it can look more like a H1 paladin and get a less armored angel.
