Yog and Lord Haart were Tavern heroes since H1. They were simply used in campaigns of H3 the same way nowadays Hall of Heroes characters are used as well (Yeshtar in Dungeon campaign etc). So I can't agree with you that these are technically campaign heroes, it's that the most fans remember them from H3 stories.
By the way, there was already a mention of Tawni in the world of Ashan...

But it's the complete opposite, technically they're Tavern heroes, simply better known as Campaign ones...
Ah, nevermind.

Note the Dark Watch. Sauron is back!
Also, I like the extended spy-powers, to sabotage and plunder enemy mines and dwellings .

Must say that the unique buildings to sabotage sound nice(was very much afraid of another diplomacy building)
Also nice to see artifact-market, was sorely disappointed in academy having only scroll-market.
Defense buildings and +2 ore seem rather useless(given than you can boosts commons via spells and skills anyway)
Overall I would say the buildings are much better than with other factions

Was Cyrca a campaign hero? can't seem to recall her...
Either way, I don't mind normal Tavern heroes coming back. Campaign heroes on the other hand... They better put in some damn effort
Hey look, a reasonable building for champion creatures! oh, It's the grail building... of course.
le sigh
and switch locations of the hydra/dragon dwelling. Hydras in the roof makes no damn sense.

*reads townscreen lore*
sigh.
elves of might and magic: religion wars.
every faction is religious to the very core, and we have elves in every corner. back in old days, we used to have towns with different philosophies and atmosphere with mixed races.
ubisoft is basically duplicating haven to erase other factions. 1 dominant race and 1 dominant religion in all factions.
i wish i was at charge with this game... i seriously think i can do much better then they do now... even with my no game designing experience.

Agreed with this. One the positive side, there is actually one dwelling (the Minotaur dwelling) in this town screen which you can actually guess what is without reading the text, so that's one more than in all the other towns combined.
On the downside, the Hydra dwelling hanging right up under the ceiling is ... odd, to say the least.

Why couldn't they've made the shadow dragons like this grail building?! Everywhere they have statues of dragons with real dragon wings, but the dragons themselves have to do with those strange butterfly thingies

Duh, it's very logical, the hydras rotate their heads like helicopter blades and fly down from the stalactite.

He couldn't pass on the "Gotcha!" moment, could he? No, because it obviously escapes him and others that people praising Heroes 3 and Heroes 5 are not doing so for their flaws too, lol.
