2 un-produced campaigns for Heroes IV will be released for free in H7 after the release (first one before the end of the year). It will include the return of dozens of old heroes, artifacts and other stuff! They will be called The Lost Tales of Axeoth

It was a good stream, I got to admit it. Marzhin was really awesome with his new campaign and it was nice to see JVC again.
...but that won't fix the game's mechanics

Man, and that grass theme at the end... So much feels
If i understood correctly, it might become part of the core Heroes VII when the campaign is released. I sure do hope so

+1
JVC has such a great attitude about everything. He really just loves the fact that Heroes is loved

This interview was quite a surprise. It was amazing to hear JVC remains loyal to the MM franchise, by at least playing the games. It was, indeed, refreshing to see him back to comment on the topics.
But I don't know, it slightly suggests that he regrets not being on the team (like that reaction of 20th anniversary of Heroes). And plus the questions that were asked, like removal of sci-fi elements or things like Heroes Online (that never got realized), it does feel that old scars were tampered out. A shame, really.
I just hope this video has gone through high-ranking officials of Ubi and MM team, to at least sense the experience from the creator of the franchise. It certainly cannot be bad not to watch the interview. I mean, they got Romero and King as composers from the old days of Heroes; they can at least hear him out on some aspects.
It was a nostalgia moment, but with some old scars.

thanks for salvaging some old Terry Ray campaigns and a great JVC interview, unfortunately I think you shoot yourselves in the foot by only managing to remind me how much more talented and humble developers they were than the current team lol

That's a surprise. I doubt it will have a quality less than other H4 campaigns.
But I hope they have sticked with EVERY part of the script. That means no "Ashanification", just plain script.

Finally! This was a great stream. I believe that some of the fans watched it with tears shedding from their eyes.
Guys, just look at Julien on the stream presenting the Lost Tales and while he was talking with JVC. The man's really happy!
I think we're finally reaching to a consensus: part of Heroes in Ashan, another part - in the Old Universe. Sadly, we'll have to wait until the end of the year, but correct me if I'm wrong, there'll be TWO Axeoth campaigns - the first one which was said to arrive till the end of the year and the second one (about Dog-barbarian). Or they both come at the same time?
Notice that the devs themselves start to use the term "Spiderpolis". ^^
Oh, and the default map editor looks user-friendly... for I moment I thought that even a noob like me can achieve something there.
P.S.: agree with Stevie, dat music theme at the end...
P.P.S.: verriker, old mate, it just appears that (according to JVC) Angels are no longer cyborgs... I don't want to start the old debate again, but it seems at least on one occasion Greg's words appear to be wrong. ^^

It's "The Lost Tales of Axeoth" for a reason.

I just can't imagine how Marzhin feels about it. Being a fan one day, turned into a developer of Might and Magic series and now talking to the Creator himself. Just wow. What a journey!

It was the best stream of H7 indeed.
I was thrilled about the H4 announcement, but when Julien mentioned JVC I almost fell down the chair. I am glad it was such a long and detailed interview with mostly interesting topics (old universe ect.). It was the best interview with JVC I have ever watched. Thank you again Julien for such an amazing surprise.

Who the hell are they after all?.. I can swear that in MM7 they were mentioned as a soulless servants just like golems... But who am I to question the Creator...

Oh yeah I totally misunderstood JVC's words, what a fool I am for casting even the tiniest shadow on doubt on Greg's quotes! Ofc he knows better then the Creator himself. Sorry ^^
