NWC wasn't a monolith with JvC as all-knowing Spider Messiah Oracle - there were a lot of people and concepts and new consensus idea was forming after long brain-storming.

Speaking of which, what an interesting thought he had back then. And it would've probably worked too, since Warcraft was just setting sail with its first WoW vanilla game. Too bad it never came to fruition. But maybe it's not too late? I think having a TBS as the flagship of M&M is just bad for the future of the franchise. I'd rather have an RPG like Dark Messiah or MMXI. Or an MMO, but not the HO browser snow, that's just lame.

Wasn't the cancelled "Raiders" supposed to be such an MMO? I don't remember the official reason for closing the project, but I can bet that at some point they realized that it won't hold the competition of the market.
Oh, by the way, thank you, Marzhin, for mentioning Russian (and Chinese) fanbases in the interview. Makes one Sandro happy. ^^
