I didnt say that Tuidhana story wouls be better. Just that i'd prefer it. Partly because one of the campaigns is a barbarian one which means i already dislike it by default, and the other one involves traveling through the seas to islands, which is a type of story i dislike too. So there goes like 75% of the appeal of those campaigns.

Man I snowing loved the Gauldot stories of HoMM4. The stories of HoMM4 were so much better than HoMM5's

Gauldoth was the only one who convinced me to play through an entire campaign legitimately. It felt like I'd ruin the story if I cheated, that's how immersive it was. One story out of 6 games' worth of campaigns. Kinda unfair to compare it to Crapshan.

All H4 campaigns made me WANT to do them legitimately. Never managed though. They're just too damn long and any mistake can take snowing hours to spot and then an additional amount of hours to do again...

H4 had great storylines and storytelling. Remembering that makes me sad, as I know that we will never see continuation of Axeoth . These two campaigns for H7 are just two campaigns...

I played through all the H4 campaigns except for Tawni's it just took too much and to be quite honest I am not big on the whole pirate theme. Price of Peace and Half-Dead were my favorites and I have played them more than once.

Better than none. Besides you have like seven new epic Ashan campaigns to play.

Oh, the thrill... I'd rather replay H3/Chronicles/H4 campaigns again than delve into Ashan's rich lore again...

I enjoyed most of the Heroes 4 campaigns, somehow they had a lot of life and character in the stories unlike erm 5. I was too disappointed with 6 and didnt really play the campaigns so can't comment on 6.

Terry Ray said: I played both Heroes V & VI. I enjoyed VI more because of the character drama. A game with an epic fantasy quality like Heroes should, I believe, always have intense stories.
Terry Ray said: First, whenever I read the message boards I inevitably come across the arguments about which game in the series is best. These are normally amusing, sometimes upsetting. I understand the impulse. I’ve been a fan of the Denver Broncos football team since early childhood. Some years I remember with pure joy, and others pure pain. But I still love the Broncos.
As for Heroes and Might & Magic, I try to look at them as a whole. Yes, maybe one version is not as appealing to you as another, but that doesn’t mean it is a vile tumor that must be excised from all memory. Love and support the series as a whole so it will stay alive forever (like I hope Gauldoth will), but if someone disagrees with you don’t freak out. Remember, they love the same thing you do.
Disappointing, really.

I wonder what's so disappointing about that. I think that especially his second statement is the kind of attitude more people should have.
Don't freak out. No, exactly. Tolerance to your fellow fans and respect of each other's opinions and preferences. Terry Ray hits the nail on the head here, imo.

Why is tolerance mixed in this? I dislike, or rather hate, the way where Heroes games are going. I will not support that at all. How is that intolerance towards others?
As for 'Love and support the series as a whole so it will stay alive forever' I think it was a mandatory thing to say.

Because if the series stays alive they can go back tobe something you like (unless you are talking about the universe lol). If it dies, it'll probably take quite a while for anyone else to buy the rights from ubi, given how M&M has the mainstream commertial appeal of nail beds.

Well, H6 did have pretty big potential and general direction. The stories were pretty good and there was the hint of drama. writers just weren't very good at actually getting that out...
And I think it's a lot of professional niceness.
