About wash-out colour thingies. Knowing that this is Unreal Engine, I dug through configuration files of MMH7 beta, that are still on my computer, and found something familiar in the file:

c:/Users/<uname>/Documents/My Games/Might & Magic Heroes VII BETA 2/Config/MMH7Engine.ini

(I guess there is the same fale in regular game, in folder Might & Magic Heroes VII, or something similar).

Under section [Engine.Player] there are these settings:

PP_DesaturationMultiplier=1.0
PP_HighlightsMultiplier=1.0
PP_MidTonesMultiplier=1.0
PP_ShadowsMultiplier=1.0

If I recall (I have no game, so I cannot test this), if you increase PP_DesaturationMultiplier, you get more black and white picture. PP_HighlightsMultiplier -decreasing this should increase brightness (though I'm not sure about this). But, if you increase PP_MidTonesMultiplier, you may get better colours. Values can be more than 1.0 (e.g. 2.0) for all of these settings. Maybe this will help with colour issue

I am fairly certain that is uPlay. I tried to log in on a different site using that account and I can't.

I loaded up ReShade and  made this in 3 sec:

OLD

NEW

It works in game and you can make lots of other changes (antialiasing, blur, godrays...)

they changed hero specials....

now creature specialists give less creatures to GROWTH

They promised that they'll look at those, but later. Don't expect a huge change in game's mechanics just two weeks after the release, especially when game is infested in bugs.

Yes. You need to put these files into folder with MMH7Game-Win64-Shipping.exe and modify MasterEffect.h in text editor to see immediate effect on screen...

But I see the mountains getting green also. Maybe this should be improved at a texture level? In any case, something MUST be done because currently the game is washed out and grey, and these immediate results are so good that I think it's very much worth.

Yeah, maybe the mountains shouldn't be applied the same degree of change, but overall is vastly superior to what is shipped. I am running out of adjectives to describe Ubisoft or whoever is responsible for this snow.....wait a sec

I just enabled color vibrance on that screenshot. You can tweak gamma, saturation, exposure and hundred other things. I guess if someone has good eye and experience in Photoshop he/she can make perfect preset for Heroes.

*Edit
In those files I included, slight saturation increase is already applied so if you want to revert to original saturation just use zero for USE_TONEMAP value.

... Can't play mutiplayer games now. New bug ; when day two starts, I have a graphic glitch and my screen doesn't show the map properly. Whatever graphic that appears on my screen remains there, like if I go in the option screens, the option window will remain even after I quit it.

Trusty lad Please take it to the devs and tell us their reaction to it. I honestly believe the game could benefit a lot from such a change.

Weird, I have only 8 GB and just played all evening without problems.

I did notice three things, though:

- The AI player captured one of my Forts. The AI Hero had no Troops and a right-click on the Fort (after loading) clearly showed a Local Guard filled with troops for my side. How could it capture it? There wasn't even a battle sequence, just *poof* gone and in enemy hands. If it means anything, it was in Sylvan map 3, with the Fort near the lower left corner;

- I parked some Summoned Air Elementals between two stacks of Fire Elementals. The first one attacked the Air Elementals and killed 2 of the 3 (and a note: the Summon spell got nerfed, it now summons (2 + 0.1 * Magic) number of elementals), while the second stack went into Guard mode right away when its turn came up. It would have been able to kill the Air Elemental, but it didn't;

- The Golden Feather Artifact allows the user to summon a Golden Dragon once per combat, but the option to do so appeared as four instances in the Spell Book. I could also use all four during one and the same battle;
