Will never get the huge hands of the h5 Djinn.
So much jewellery in Ashan artworks, good art doesn't need such superficial nuisance. Look at old Solmyr or that Efreet I got from google, so simple, so efficient.
 
And the old fanart from h3 Genie beats the h7 design by a billion imo.

@Gryphs So genie with spikes, lots of spikes and over designed armors then?(I figured that's how ubisoft see male units) Maybe throw in the scrapped liches spike/chain -staff for good measure?
Edit: Or maybe we could do one better and get the beloved meth-head back as Efreeti, just color change to red, it's even floating already!

No, of course not, that would be to much work for their college undergraduate graphics team. It will, I imagine look like a red genie with nothing changed save the big scarf covering where the breasts are, and maybe some overdone spikes sticking off randomly. I can definitely see the lich though, great money grubbing saving idea just colour it red.

Three things really bring the h7 genie down for me...
1. It's called a djinn and not a genie...
2. the free flowing hair
3. They don't get sucked into a lamp when they die 
H4 genie was my favorite

I don't have a problem with the H7 genie well aside from her not being called a genie I agree with that. I personally like H2's genie the best though.

Too bad they move like they have a stick up their bum. The genie is one of the worst animated units in the game no matter how the model atually looks like. All this talk about artwork and models is completetly pointless unless the whole animation work is redone...
