witcher 3 is indeed a fantastic game, easily game of the year. even for people who dont play rpg's i can recommend this game

I agree with you, and Witcher 3 is indeed a game of the year.
However, my point is that successful games also have big digital sales and if the newish game is on sale it doesn't mean or imply its unsuccessful st all.
In this day and age, games could be sold for 5 dollars on steam and game developers/publishes would still make money. The cost associated with distribution of digital games is minimal, and this should drive price of games down. However as people seem content on paying $60 for getting to play and not own the game for a limited time - this won't change.

I wrote about Naadir'S (necro hero) main skill "bug" (or just description fail) to UBI.
In their answer this was the best sentence  (I repeat, they wrote it )
"We have reported this to the development team and they will look into fixing this issue before the game's full release."
I wrote them back, that if I know it well Heroes 7 released on 2015.09.29, but okay

Except it's NEVER because of the sellers kind heart that games go on sale, ever. Once again, look at Act Of Agression, quite well received RTS - 40% off three months after the release, even Just Cause 3 is 20% off mere weeks after the release! It means nothing. Sales are decided by a collaboration between Steam AND publishers marketing teams, developers have nothing to do with it AT ALL.
I have seen critically acclaimed games on sale weeks after the release. I have seen the opposite - games with lowest reviews still sold at full price a year later.
Different marketing strategies but all share one common point: with digital game distribution most of the game's price is a pure profit once you covered your costs.

I want one. And I want a few to be resolved to It s by far the most promising heroes in a while I'd like it to go to the TotE stage of h5 at least. I don't want h3 and its horrible system to be the legacy of heroes , and I hate that H5 did not go any further.
How are you ? Are you guys of this thread still patting each other on the back about how being a cool tribe of naysayers ? I guess its good to belong somewhere.

You know, I would say the game was promising a year ago. Now? No.
For really, there were many attempts "to dethrone" Heroes III, to make a better game. And all of them failed. Even Heroes V, since you still have some people that do not like it and wouldn't touch it. Shame, really.
