Well, 30 euros is a bit much for now, so I'll put this one on hold. Besides, as long as it's 'Sold Out' in Uplay there isn't mutch to do anyway .

A lot of actually. But who cares? It's much easier to hate the game and say that nothing changed at all.

On my end. Through Steam: 39.99$ is the price for the Expansion(40$).
It is a no limit in digital copies to be sold through Steam.
A serious reduction in price for the digital edition of the original one(Heroes VII).
In between 75% and 81% off regular price for all the other titles of within the Might and Magic Heroes' franchise. Through Steam only, I guess.
Will have to get to you all for the physical copies. Might have thousands of them coming from the distribution services of the U.S.A.:San-Francisco, California for us, Canadians(Neighbors of the North).

The random skill system is nice so far. You get eight choices...four skills and four perks to pick from. It's too much imo. It's more fun now that there are no restrictions on what can level up all the way, but I haven't noticed any balance changes at all. So I guess the game is perfect in their eyes

Here's the news about the availability of the expansion on Uplay.
You have to update/upgrade the game client of Uplay first then, the patching download starts right-a-way for the game(s) that need the latest in patches.
Mine, is downloading as I get to write this post, now.
Went into the online Uplay store and found the page dedicated to all that are products in the Might and Magic franchise. Found the expansion of Trial by Fire and the Heroes VII: Complete Edition as well.
Might & Magic Heroes VII:Trial by Fire = 39.99$(40$)+ taxes as the stand-alone expansion.
Might & Magic Heroes VII: Complete = 59.99$(60$)+ taxes as the whole game. Patched already? Really do not know. Possibility of a strong yes or, patches itself before implementing the expansion to it all afterwards. The new owner of this complete bundle gets to save a good whole 20$ for the Vanilla edition or 10$ each editions(10$+10$=20$)So, instead of paying the whole 80$+ taxes, it became 20$ cheaper = 60$.
Original/Vanilla Edition is still sold for 39.99$(40$)+ taxes unpatched and, probably still at version 1.0(cumulative patching might be required to reach version 2.0)

Although it may be very surprising for many people here, I haven't bought the TbF yet. I have many changed things in vanilla to explore, so why to rush with the expansion, especially as there is nothing more if I buy it now (as there was no preorder action). And as we won't get any other expansion for H7 (and the same's right about H8, at least for several years, if at all), there is no reason to support the "really amazing" Ubisoft company. On the other hand Limbic team (and my favourite H7) still deserves the support in their fight against evil, greeedy "partner"-publisher imao.

Status of the so-called patch 2.0.xxxx.
Turns out, this is the real first expansion at version 2.0.
Since, they've(devs) literally and completely redone the game altogether.
Tried to use the new in-game Generator and, it is a complete success.
For me, the editor is no longer needed for generating maps, ever.
It can, even, generate an impossible sized map in mere seconds without the underground(300x300). It gets to put a maximum of 8 players but, putting 16+ towns, forts and, mines only territories. Plenty of dimensional gates to use in order to make your own head spin out of control and total dizziness.
So, for Heroes 7 ver. 2.0, Small is Tiny, Medium is Small, Large is Medium and, Extra Large is both Large up to Impossible(according to how many player will be chosen before generating the custom map.
That is why, this add-on is considered the one and only add-on to it. Because, it is considered as the second expansion instead of being the first one.
Now, knowing all of this, anyone know the version of the final and completed game(once the add-on is included with it all)? 2.1, 2.5 or, 3.0?
BTW: It would seem that the add-on does come with only one extra campaign. A dwarven campaign of about 6 maps in its whole. That would end up rendering the dwarven campaign: The most important campaign of the entire game.

Everything is in the patch: all of the rodents, new neutrals, random skills... whatever. Basically you have to pay to unlock the xpack.

If you turn False to True you will enable skilling in all campaign maps. You can then change those numbers to whatever you want and it will offer you more skills/abilities per level up, should the player want this.
It seems to be working for the campaigns but the offered Abilities (= 2) and Skills (= 3) numbers are not accurate. At the beginning of the development of your hero those numbers are true but when the levels go up those numbers jump to 4 for Abilities and 4 for Skills. I’m not quite sure if this was caused because I picked around 6 skills or it’s because the hero levels.
But it general it’s the same boring game: limited movement of the hero, battles lasting for ages, total nightmare with the magic schools and so on. I spend like 10 hours and I couldn’t discover even the half of the map (large size). This is the longest period I've played this game and I’m not gonna continue until some decent mod balance the stupid game. Necropolis is OP as hell. This faction has had some advantage over the other factions in the previous games but nothing like this. Fully developed Necromancy + some building in the city which boost +5% Necromancy, equals to 100 Skeleton Hoplites and 40 Banshees after “big battle”. At late game the stacks are big so pretty much after every battle my hero receives those amounts of units (I guess 100 and 40 are the cap).

There are 3 new scenarios that I can see.
1) Shifting Dunes, which is about Yog.
2) Tear of the Old One, which is about Bart Brimstone.
3) The Rose's Kiss, which is about Sephinroth.
Returning Dwarf Heroes are Hangvul, Tolghar, Svea, Ebba and Erling (from Heroes 5) which are all available in Skirmish. Karli also appears in the campaign.
Interestingly there is also a Kobold hero available in Skirmish, who also happens to be female.
