Didn't the Chinese do something smilar before. I echo screenshots from a pretty cool Conflux and "Marshlander" (Fortress) towns for some H3 spin-off developed in China sometime around the H5 era...
Hope the trend continues anyway.

Ok, so s*rew Western markets, they're a lost cause, China is da bomb now!
That's cool, Chinese market is more tolerant, it suck ups whatever is thrown out them probably because there's an entertaiment 'drought' out there. Censorship was keeping a lot of western stuff out the country, but now it's becoming more open so many companies are already taking action. Even if a product sells for a towns worth of people, in China what is considered a small town has 2+ mln people in it  Take Warcraft movie for instance. I liked it myself, but it's widely known it wasn't a hit on Western markets. Well, China alone has made Blizzard so much money that a sequel is justified by that market alone 
Unfortunately that's one thing I didn't take into account  As long as Ubisoft exists they won't release the franchise from their clutches (I was afraid of that). So it seems Vivendi is our last hope!

Yup, they have made Heroes of Might and Magic online (don't mistake with Might and Magic: Heroes Online )they used H3 line-ups with some new arts and some from H5, you can check screenshot of the line-ups from the game Here if you want

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the Warcraft movie won't even make even. The only way I can see a sequel is getting is a cheap budget one, targetting the Chinese market.

That's coming to me as a shock really... but other then that dat 40-minute extended cut would be great, make it happen 
Heroes 7 failure seems little in comparison, Ubi will probably 'make it right' with a sh*tty mobile game, and the wheel will keep on turning

The problem is that, after it's been said all along that bringing back the old universe was not possible for various reason that now appear as pure bullsnow, the FLAGSHIP of the series was forced to cope with the miserable mockery that is Ashan. But now it's suddenly A-OK to get Antagarich FOR A snowING MOBILE GAME IN CHINA! Worst of all is that we know for a fact that Ubisoft has a reputation of royally screwing up everything related to this franchise, so not only that we were literally ROBBED of its legacy up until now, but we'll also get to see it dragged through the dirt by this god forsaken company.
