There is only one possible good thing about it. Ubi actually could rise lots of doughs in Chinese market to spend them for a new Heroes game with big budget and all. Who knows, maybe it's theirs long term master plan to save the franchise from sad oblivion?

So what you're saying is that they'll invest little money and make a lot of dough and then invest a lot of that dough in the sinking ship of Heroes? No, they'll just keep investing little money and make a lot of dough and put a lot of dough into their pockets. The 101 of milking a franchise with minimal investment, they've done it before and they'll do it again because it works.

Yes.

Sounds much more realistically.

I'm glad to look at Catherine in modern graphics. I wouldnt mind an old world spinoff or campaign with her as main character. I always got the impression that (had things gone differently with H6) all the legacy characters in the anniversary poster would have gotten a mini-campaign or scenario.

You guys honestly believe that ubi's turn to the China market was a petty reaction to our fanrage? If so you don't get it. As if the higher ups could give a crap about that, they have been experts at ignoring fans long before any of us knew how to play heroes ^^ Ubi milks what they can milk and move on, kinda like locusts. Then they return like the seemingly sorry ex who wants their toothbrush back and and try to re-establish their connection. Likely with a brand new DRM ^^

Ubi turned to Chinese market because h7, which was mainly targeting the western audience, deemed to be a financial failure. Not because "we hurt their feelings" Oh Gosh

This is true but stating the obvious will not help overcome the frustration these guys have obviously gathered over the years (as, otherwise, I see no rational explanation for their enjoyment).
You should let them have their 2 minutes of content bathing in the pile of crap Bullshisoft is pouring on HoMM.

HC has 10 588 members. 68 of them were active the last 24 hours. Pretty much the same applies to Celestial Heavens, who even now discourage fans from buying the DLC:s. What Ubi did to the M&M-community is reminiscent of a genocide.

Bad news is no reason to be passive aggressive towards other members. A reminder from the COC:
Quote:
6) NO provocation or aggravation.
Provocation is unfriendly behavior that causes anger or resentment from others. Aggravation is causing, continuing or increasing irritation or trouble. This includes being a detriment to the peacekeeping of the forums.
Each member is solely responsible for their own conduct - no amount of provocation or aggravation from someone else will justify the action of breaking the rules. Instead of responding to a member who has offended you, alert a moderator about this situation and let them deal with it, keeping you out of trouble.
I was expecting something like a mobile game even if H7 was a huge success. Or especially then. Ubisoft always wanted to have Heroes as the flagship making big headlines, and supporting it with smaller games that are much more profitable, but would not have gained enough attraction without the "mothership" gathering the crowds to M&M. But is sure is ironic that it will not be in Ashan.

I'm starting to take issue with posts from certain users that seek to ostentatiously aggravate and provoke otherse with unfiltered attitudes in their posts, untrue statements and annoying gifs, so I kindly ask the moderators to enforce some standards before the thread degenerates into personal attacks, which I must admit feel very tempting right about now.
