I am somewhat concerned that they are a large unit. Protecting them might turn out tricky.

Oh yes, there was one... By the way, I wish that artifact models were once more unique, just like in Heroes V but with so huge cost cutting it may not happen...

That would leave academy lagging in the ranged department and that has been their strength since forever. Especially since I have a hunch Cabirs are going to be short range units.

Why having a ranged attack when a direct damage spell already covers that? Feels redundant, just give them loads of spell points like in H4.

I think this is a design flaw. One that should not make it into the release version. But maybe we're to hasty to judge. It's just that I'm angry at creatures like Swordmaster and now Disciple where the devs could've broken the "norm" and give us small size Champs and Elites. But nooooo...

I wonder how they will justify the either the genie or the disciple being a large unit. The carpet might just do it for the disciple visually but the genie is simply too small to warrant 4 squares.

Was it already confirmed/said that units will have any spells? Right now chaplain/abbott have one/two passive abilities respectively, while there is not even a word about having a spell book.
I hope I just missed some information in that matter.

when it comes to fight, less space is better. they will probably do every elite+champion 2x2 to easily balance them. but i think this is just ugly sometimes, like this mage we see, its clearly 2x2 but he should be 1x1. carpet doesnt make him large creature lol.
why they have to go easy way everytime? size codes, color codes.. not cool you know.
