It sounds like small compensation for playing second. It would only pay off in the unlikely case where you *can* pull off a dual checkmate, without affecting the rest of the games. I'm nowhere near those top players though

I am not experienced chess player, but from what I've heard for some players that play it on top level, draws happen quite a lot in chess, no matter if you try to avoid it or not.
I am baffled that you are still expecting some updates. I already went to follow other games in development and don't expect anything from H7, so I am pleasantly surprised when we get something.

Well, Heroes 7 is the only game in development that I follow actively. There are some other releases that I expect but I'm just not that involved. Oh, and there's DotA 2, there's always DotA 2. And anime.
In fact, there are already a lot of things for which I divide my time so I just can't follow anything else.

Btw, I haven't heard anything about GURS lately. Hope it won't go under because you asked us to stay silent about it. That'd piss some people off, myself included. We need some conclusion.

Great news! I think it was the right decision to include both the CD and the artworks. The artworks looked really nice but the CD was too essential to be left out  .
By the way since no one mentioned the Ivan figurine yet, I like how it looks. Him standing on the Stag helmet is a nice touch.

This type of pose is quite common in sculptures, like depiction of Mary crushing a head of a snake or Shiva standing on an evil dwarf. Ivan is inspired by the finest.

I must say that I wasn't expecting them to include both the CD and the lithographs in the Collector's Edition. Isn't this proof that they actually listen to the community? I'm starting to think about them in a bit more friendly terms, and I do hope they keep it up. I would like more pleasant surprises like this, more significant ones if I may add. Like GURS.
