Again your blowing this waaaay out of proportion. Not caring THAT MUCH and not carring AT ALL are 2 diferent things.
So by what standard is that akin to not caring at all? Yours? Isn't that subjective?
I actually wouldn't mind having a Giant Dung in Stronghold. Given enough time I might even like it. And then I might even push for it as truly part of Heroes.

I wonder which units and spells would you use in a pvp HoMM matchup. The one that is most effective or the one that looks best and has more pretty explosion effect?
Right.
I play a game to have ****ing fun not to be some sort of elitist.

Quote: 2. WILL IT BE POSSIBLE TO DESTROY A BUILDING TO CHANGE YOUR CHAMPION CHOICE IN TOWN?
It would be too easy to allow the destruction of a single building to give the opportunity to change your champion selection every day. When you decide to build a champion dwelling, you need to have a clear vision of your strategy and if you come to change your mind, you will be of course able to do it but with more consequences. Indeed, all buildings situated in the same “building level” will have to be destroyed to allow new structures. Choose wisely Councillors!
This answer is so confusing. If Champion's level holds just one building, the player should be able to swap champions every two days (first day destroy, second build your new choice)....
Barely anything new except for the Sea Elf. I hope they are more concrete as we approach beta.

*Sigh* When will they learn to only add new stuff when they have already nailed down the already existing ones. They still haven't grasped this concept since H3.
Also, still no news on simultaneous turns.

Sorry, I couldn't help myself, but Q3 feels so dumb :/
The lack of news regarding ST is worrisome indeed. Let's hope it doesn't turn like H6...

my problem would actually be if they called it a pirate.. It is an Elf.. a Jack sparrow kind of an elf, but still an elf. If they Called it a Pirate I would be somewhat disappointed that they don't look like the guys from H-IV

Sure it is subjective. That was the point. There's nothing wrong with that, it's just that there dosen't exist objectivly "ugly" or objectivly "good looking".
And if you accept this, then you should realize, that not everyone might think about HoMM art syle as you do.
LizzardWarrior sees Uncle Fester, I see undead mummyfied wizzard. You also see undead mummyfied wizzard, but you don't aprove of it, on the basis it's not proper lich.
Even if the majority think diferent than me, it won't change my mind. Unless ofc it's on the matter where there can actualy be right and wrong. On art design it can't be right and wrong.
That said, I like when artists thinks totaly out of the box, and comes up with ideas that are truly unique. H6 and H7 art does not meet this standard.
But that's ok. I don't see H6 or H7 unit designs the pinacle of high art ... They are passable to me, and that's the important thing.
Every game in history, that has been very succesfull, has reached it's potnetial on basis of good gameplay.
I too play games to have fun. But trying diferent strategies and approaches, tweeking tactics and unit/spell combos, adopting playstyle to diferent enviorment etc. is to me the fun part. If game can't deliver here (and H6 does not), I won't play it. Not for very long time at least. I play all the factions. 90% of the time I play 1v1 or 2v2 lan matches with random factions. Personaly I'm not attached to any faction. I also am kind of person who wants to play the games, not look at them (or worse their loading screens).
I, belive it or not, respect your opinion. I do realize it's diferent than mine. But I do think Necropolis hate is way out of proportion. Yes it's not perfect by any means, and belive me, I don't like every aspect of it. But It's not that terrible c'mon. It is, for the most part passable. Just like other factions.
Your example of Giant Dungs is a huge exaggeration. Let me put it this way:
I, with few exceptions, hate H5 art style. I think it was the worst looking HoMM to date. This is my subjective opinion. It is no diferent that what you probably think of H6 necro. And guess which is my favourite HoMM game? Yes it is H5. H3 is also there. They are more or less equal in my eyes. Why is that? Because Zombies look like actual Uncle Festers? Because Undead hero horse looks like something childeren on crack will put together with straws and mud? NO. It's because of solid combat system, and skill-wheel, and magic system, and might heroes being usefull, and faction abilities etc. It's because it had good solid gameplay.

@Storm-Giant
Could that mean that all town level 15 buildings (for example) need to destroyed to re-build something that was destroyed? So you can't just destroy the level 7 creature dwelling and build a new one

The Fact that the Champions are going to cost different amount of gold worries me. It might indicate that the champions are going to be separated in an expensive awesome champion, and a cheap trashy champion, so we'd be forced to pick the same every friggin' game.
